Updating my review from a year ago. I recently stopped by as they have changed their menu and was pleasantly surprised. They have expanded their menu and improved the quality. They also serve all you can eat sushi for $31 pp weekend price, which is very decent. I loved that I can try all different rolls and appetizers. We have been back 3 times since. Sushi is fresh and the sauce on the rolls are delicious. Definitely recommend the ika salad. Gluten free by nature.

Very low-quality sushi. Pretty much flavorless. I’m not sure what the technique is, but I’ve encountered it at a couple of sushi restaurants. It’s as if the fish is Frozen in water for transport. It’s flavorless. It doesn’t taste spoiled or anything like that. It just has no flavor. For the life of me, I do not understand why anyone would eat here. The eel sushi was also very fishy. That’s a relatively high risk for eel, but if it’s fresh, it’s never an issue, and it’s delicious. All of the flavors here we’re either off or severely anemic. I strongly recommend that you go somewhere else if you want to enjoy your meal.

Absolutely amazing! The salad could have been cut up a bit more but overall was delicious. The sushi was the freshest I’ve gotten from any sushi place locally. The spicy tuna was perfect but oh my goodness…the spicy mango shrimp roll was out of this world. It has actual fresh mango unlike other places that use the ones from a jar. I am happily going to recommend East Hana to all my friends and coworkers! Can’t wait to come in and try the ramen next!!!! Amazing job, 10/10
