Haven’t been to OK Sun in probably 15 years. Was so excited to eat there again. The broccoli chicken and sticky rice was exactly like I remember. It was fantastic!! The flavor is so unique and so good! The chicken egg rolls used to be my favorites as well and they don’t have them on the menu anymore. Replaced with hamburger and pizza rolls. The hamburger roll was okay but just didn’t pair well with the broccoli chicken. It was kind of odd actually. Wish they at least had a veggie roll. But the experience was the same as 15 years ago. Great food, sweetest people that own it!

First time here, found it driving to the fruit and vegetable stand on the corner. Got sweet n sour chicken meal and chicken and shrimp meal and won tons with a water. Total price $34. So I’m kinda mixed on this place… although different named plates they were basically the same thing, except mine was soaked in sauce and the shrimp and chicken wasn’t but the same sauce was on the side. One says comes with chin cho and one says oriental slaw, basically the same thing except the slaw was cold and the other was hot. The “vegetable fried rice” is white rice with shreds of carrots. All that being said it did have a good flavor. I appreciate the chicken was the white meat chicken breasts pieces and not like a usual place where the chicken can be stringy or rubbery. I would expect to have a few more pieces of chicken and shrimp though. The won tons I was told were good but I didn’t taste them myself.

Would not recommend! I thought we’ve ordered here before and that’s why I needed up choosing them this evening. The food is t bad but WAY over priced for the portion. The picture below will show what our entree looked like right at opened. I paid for 3 entrees and paid over $40. Definitely will not return.

Seriously, this may be the best hidden gem in Columbus. Ya’ll. 36 years in business for a reason. Sweet people. The food tasted like it was cooked with love. Best restaurant rice I have ever had. Anywhere. The bulgogi spicy was absolutely what it was supposed to be and truly some of the best we have had around the country. Salty, sweet, and left a nice heat afterward. Will most definitely be back and fully intend on trying all the menu items.

Let’s put it this way…. my husband’s parents came here for the first time before his older brother was born (age 36 now) and haven’t stopped going since. My husband brought me here 11 years ago when we first started dating and I’ve been hooked ever since. Everything is so delicious and full of flavor and ALWAYS consistent. In the 11 years I have been going I have never had an experience where the food didn’t taste EXACTLY like I expected. We love OK Sun and will be loyal customers for as long as the doors stay open.

I have been going to ok suns for almost 30 years and I almost always get the same thing……pizza rolls and Chinese French fries. They are awesome. Never heard of it? The fries are tempura battered carrots and onions. Kinda like an onion ring only better. . The pizza egg rolls are not a typical egg roll with cabbage….not sure what’s all in them but I see meat, pepperoni, finely shredded carrots, mozzarella cheese. You gotta dip them in the sweet n sour sauce. The also have really good beef/chicken fried rice.
