Not going to lie and tell you that Tokyo has the best food. But when it comes to Japanese cuisine hands down Tokyo grill handling business. Their sushi is something I’m always ordering but you might their fried rice or something. On you way there feel feel to listen to my new Album “Astrology 2” I hope you enjoy their food.

I ordered three orders of fried rice and one happened to have a strain of hair inside (the other two were fine) so I called back to the location on Kirby and was told to bring it in. I did so and instantly two workers laughed and said they’re hair isn’t that “thin” nor was anyone’s hair “cut” like that. I explained that it definitely wasn’t mine due to finding it in the middle of my food and that I’m a black girl with an entire different hair texture than the hair found. I asked for a refund for that part my order and the only option they gave me was to get it remade with the worst attitude ever. They kept stating rudely that it’s not their hair and I was never given a refund and I definitely didn’t eat the “fresh” order that was given to me within seconds. The customer service was terrible for the first time and that’s definitely my last time ordering food from them for simply not having the decency to take accountability for their own mishap.

I ordered the other night. California Roll Rice was off in taste. Something about that Rice taste was off. The Cucumber was a different variety/type, and that was off in taste. My Green Salad contained the off tasting Cucumber. Not the Fresh Cucumber variety I’m accustomed to getting from #tokyogrill I’m thinking that Cucumber was substituted with Squash. Kool, but I just wanted that fresh cucumber taste in my California Roll.

Great prices and really tasty sushi. We love getting one of their party trays (the Emperor’s tray, seen here). Really fast service and friendly staff.

Just 4 stars because they have gone up 1$ on every item. But quality is still good. I love the sushi and miso soup they have. Also the fried rice is so good an tasty. You can call ahead and place your order, service is great. I love this location, the park ave and the newly open on poplar.

Great place to eat! The dynamite rolls are however it’s best to order ahead. Because the wait is long. Enjoy!!!

Major MAJOR disappointment and waste of $$$. Threw down garbage disposal. Usually pretty good. Am shocked
