I tried one taco each: Pollo, Asada, and Carnitas. The “mild” green salsa is OK but I prefer the thicker (non-purred) tomatillo salsa at Poblanitas.

There are so many fast food places on campus in which the food is decent at best, but La Popular is truly a hidden gem that doesn’t get enough recognition. This is by far the best authentic Mexican food truck I have ever had. Everything on the menu is 12/10, she makes all the sauces herself, and everything it just so fresh and delicious. I recently asked if she could make me a burrito bowl even though it wasn’t on the menu, she made it for me anyways and now I try to get it at least once to twice a week. I absolutely love this place, and supporting local businesses. The woman who does the cooking is so sweet, and has great customer service skills. Everyone I have recommended this place to has also loved it, and I hope this review convinces someone else to give this amazing food truck a try

My number one favorite place to get tacos. I’m originally from California, and this reminds me of home. She makes everything fresh and it’s all delicious! I love the beef tongue, carnitas, chorizo and chicharron.

I’m IN LOVE with the tacos from La Popular! (I went three times in one week.) They’re the best I’ve had in town, and the woman who runs the truck is so sweet. I highly recommend the Mexican Sausage and spicy pork tacos. La Popular is a must-try for sure! Wish I could rate it 6/5 stars.

There are many Mexican takeouts/fast food spots on campus. But this one take the cake by mile.The food here is always fresh and affordable. The sauces are always made fresh. My personal favorite meat is the chicharron on her burritos with guacamole salsa or haberno. My girlfriend and I are regular there and the woman loves us

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this food truck!!!! I eat veggie burritos from here at least once a week. The flavors are incredible……radishes are an amazing addition to the already beautifully grilled zucchini, yummy beans, and FULL of flavor AS WELL as HEAT hot sauce. Super affordable and NOT a place to miss!
