I had a taste for something different, and Zemam’s Too was recommended to me. I’m familiar with some Eastern African dishes, so I knew what to expect as far as how to eat and the spiciness of the food. I ordered the Mixed Veggie and Meat sampler with Foussulia, Gomen Wat, and the Spicy Boneless Chicken. They were all delicious. Traditional African cuisine, in this case Eritrean, is so underrated. I highly suggest breaking from the norm and treating yourself to something different.

If you haven’t had Etheopian Food before you should try Zenams. It is served Etheopian style on one platter, everyone eats from the same platter using injeria bread as your utensil. Extremely flavorful with a large selection of food the you get to choose. The food is medium to spicy and it’s really delishous.

Anytime I come to Tucson to visit family this is an absolute must on the list of things to do. Let’s put it this way I love this place so much that the week before my trip I dreamed about this food. I woke up mouth watering thinking about it. So if you have not tried them you absolutely should. It is fantastic. They’re very knowledgeable about the culture and the people and the food they can answer almost any question. It’s a wonderful place you should definitely give it a try.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD! By far the most flavorful unique food. My family and I love eating here. Great experience as well, eating with your hands.

My first taste of Ethiopia! Extremely addicting food and portions!! I love the red lentils, they are the perfect amount of spicy. All of their food is very rich with flavor and heartiness. Come here on an empty stomach after a long day of work, and prepare to pig out!! Staff is very nice and helpful, answering all the questions I had about the menu. Vegetarian friendly! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a nice ambience.

Excellent !!! We have never had Ethiopian food and I loved the whole experience. We ordered a sampler and a meat dish. I can’t remember the numbers, but my favorites were the spicy red lentil and the spicy tilapia. The brown lentils and yellow peas were great too. And we had one with cabbage that was quite different than the rest, so nice to get so many options. Really friendly staff as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more options

This place is amazing! I’ve never tried Ethiopian style food, but I’m hooked. I definitely recommend this place. I would suggest sharing two sample platters to try multiple things. They are huge! The seasoning of the food was incredible. Go try this!

First time eating Ethiopian food, and I was very happy we visited this restaurant! The main restaurant was featured in DDD episode, and this second location does not disappoint. Be prepared to eat with your hands using injera as your cutlery. The staff was wonderful which made this a great experience!

This is my new favorite restaurant in Tucson. It was so delicious. We tried 12 different menus items. All the veggie options and two of the meat dishes. They can accommodate dairy free and gluten free. The staff was kind and the environment was comfortable and clean.
