Have a good friend in McRae GA, who told me about his cousin, Hank, who is the owner of this Dairy Queen. The burgers are always cooked on an open flame grill, are is one of the best burgers from this chain I have ever had in many years! This place has always been clean everytime I have been there, and the staff always friendly.

I give them 4 stars because it’s very good food however one of the cashier’s is very rude to us when we go there she looks young and has a very disrespectful manner speaking to people… Update I now give them 2 stars as the visits have just got worse so rude and never a welcome or thank you the youn girl with dark hair and glasses looked right at me 3 times at the window and I said thank you she just stared at me so rude!!! Very horrible. Cashier was like.Hello?? And what else?? Then they tried to charge us 11 dollars for two blizzards and mine tasted horrible. It was not sweet at all. How do you go wrong with ice cream? Ordered the turtle blizzard. You would think that being in a small town that the customer service would be better but it wasn’t.

The woman who finally came to take my order was very rude not welcoming at all. When I told her I wanted a coney she says we don’t have coneys. So i looked on the board and it was called a chili dog, so I say sorry chili dog. Then she says we’ll if you want a chili dog then you should say chili dog. She said this with extreme sarcasm. I then said forget it and started to leave. I turned around and asked for the manager she said that’s me I said can I have your 800 # she refused to give it to me. She did say it’s usually on the door but it wasn’t. This lady was so very rude she did not give me her name. It was at 11:35 on sat 11-5-2022. Older black woman. I will never go back.

It’s really sad that the person behind the counter could of cared less if you were there. I ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait. The level of ice cream was pitiful. It was handled the same as to how my card and receipt were handed to me. They just didn’t care. Customer service is out the door.

Be careful!!! The last three times I’ve been there, they added two dollars to my meal and didn’t give me a receipt. At first I thought it was mistake but after the third time it seems to be a case of price gauging. Or maybe everything on the menu gets a $2 tax added instead of the govt regulated amount. I hope that this family oriented business isn’t robbing Americans for there money at these uncertain times when the economy is trying to gather itself. It’s ashame that everybody even businesses scamming and stealing. Every business in McRae got the PPP but been bleeding the city dry with high prices during the pandemic. I guess if everyone is dying let’s get all the money we can mentality. Or you can just give the people there food for the price on the menu. Or take the menu down.

Ordered a blizzard with extra cheesecake toppings , when I got to the window the lady half flipped it, the blizzard had been melting off the side and barley had 3 pieces of cheesecake. I’m guessing they fixed my blizzard ahead of time, and it just sat there melting as I waited over 6 minutes for the line to move. How smart was that?
