They are one of the best in Portland.. Very tender Ribs!!! Good sauces!! Pretty good service… But!!! They are very inconsistent!!! Don’t know if they are gonna be serving ribs today or not!!! But I’m gonna keep going!!! Cause good ribs are hard to find. And I like to support local businesses over chain’s..

I work close to this restaurant and eaten there twice. Second time because I thought they might have had an off day the first time. Mac and cheese terrible soggy and no flavor. Baked beans terrible Taste like they put there day old meat in it. How can the meat in your baked beans be dry. Ribs cold dry taste old. Brisket better than the rest. I wish they would leave there BBQ sauce off its oily yuck. pulled pork slider bun was so soggy i couldn’t eat it. Hello try a toasted bun. not just bad BBQ a bad restaurant.

The brisket was good. However, that was the only thing that was really tasty. Their traditional sauce lacked flavor. The biscuits were ok. The mac and cheese was decent. The service was adequate. Overall, it was fine but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return for seconds.

Great food, ribs have the fall off the bone meat!! Chilli was nice and hearty. Kristy is an awesome bartender and super sweet. Pulled pork sandwich will make you take a derseved nap right after!

Their Carolina mustard sauce is the closest to what I grew up eating in SC that I’ve had since I left. Tangy, not ooey, gooey sweet. Marvelous on the lovely, smokey pulled pork sandwich. I’ll definitely be back.

Great BBQ when they don’t sell out before 5 PM. The baby back ribs are excellent as is the brisket. Mac and cheese is also excellent.

Great BBQ. If I could give any advice to someone trying this place for the first time it’s skip the bun. It only hurts the otherwise delicious BBQ. Also, if you get the biscuits, make sure you use the honey butter. I could eat that all by itself.

First met owner in Lake Havasu City, AZ at a BBQ event. When we got back to Portland we checked Slabtown out and come back often.
