It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. It’s new. I get the hype, but once you pull into the drive-through lanes, you CAN NEVER LEAVE without staying in that line to the end. So, let’s say you get in line, not realizing how long it’s actually going to take. You are blocked in without any option to leave. There are concrete curbs in place preventing any kind of exit. This is a design flaw, and I believe it should be reconsidered.

My friend and I went through the drive through. Changes to our burgers were easy to make. You expect to wait a little on opening day, but the wait wasn’t too bad. Burgers and onion rings were great. Fries could have been more crunchy. The young lady who brought our order to the car was friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to eating there again!!

I had no wait in the drive thru which was a plus. Food was prompt, but as I got back on hwy 72, I was disappointed that the fries were not hot. Not cold as in refrigerated but simply not hot. My combo was over 11.00 w tax. Looked nice and clean from what I could see outside looking in. Sorry, no plans to return.

Still working the kinks out. I went through The drive through and they only gave me 1/2 my order. So I pulled around and went inside to get the rest. It took 15 minutes to get the rest of my order. However, the chicken strips are very tasty.

The food is always good! But and this is a big BUT I have been 8 times now every morning on my way to work just hoping it would change! No one in line and I have to wait 20-25min for a biscuit and this is every morning I have went! They need new management before they ruin this place too! Hiring the same managers and people from all theses other fast food places is going to make this place just like those places! I wish I could teach them about managing!
