The staff was attentive and courteous. High marks. The place was well organized and moderately busy throughout my visit. That being said I was disappointed in their salsa (no kick). There was two orders of the same dish ordered. One came out hot and quite good (the ground beef filled one). The other (shredded beef filled) had a stale meat flavor. Very unsatisfying and only partially consumed. Hope the next time I visit both mishaps will have been improved.

Very good spot to get a Mexican draft beer in a frozen mug, hangout and eat. The chips and salsa are very nice. I asked for some hot salsa one day and it had quite a kick. The tacos are very flavorful and the chicken salad was quite impressive. Highly recommend.

Quick service and ALWAYS 5 STAR FOOD! Hot, fresh, and so yummy! Love the Pollo Fundido; grilled chicken with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and COVERED IN THEIR WHITE CHEESE QUESO! What is not to love! Drinks are perfect and even if busy, wait staff is on it! I would have dropped a picture of my food but we were too busy eating it!

Food tasted pretty good, but our waiter kept messing up our drink orders; and the prices suck, being too high, with inconsistent pricing for the food you get. A regular burrito meal being like $13-14 is a small burrito with sides versus a whole fajita plate with sides, thick steak quesodilla with sides, and I got the queso birria. You only get three tacos with a tiny soup cup, no sides. Everything was more or less the same prices for very different amounts of food.

El Charro’s food is top notch! The chips and salsa are fresh (and free) and the cheese dip is good. We ordered the beef chimi, two hard tacos and a bowl of tortilla soup. It was all delicious. I do not recommend the soft drinks. They don’t taste right. But water and sweet tea are great!
