Atmosphere was great as usual. It really is a great place to eat. The food is always very good. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, especially since we had a large group. The service was a bit slow even though it wasn’t overly busy. I understand we had a large group but even with smaller groups it seems to be slow.

Our first time visiting from out of town was recommended by a lady who lives in the area. We were not disappointed food was amazing. Whatever they put on the fresh made chips needs to be bottled and sold. Right by the lake we really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back.

Went for dinner on the patio. Was decent, had lake view. Food was good but lacking. The walleye had way to much seasonings and a bit over cooked. In all not horrible. But one thing to point out. Watch your server because ours decided to put a 20% tip for himself before we even seen the check.

Nice views and atmosphere. Don’t get the buffalo burger – it’s mislabeled, should be labeled buffalo STYLE. one time they had no baked potatoes at 6pm. We were told the staff forgot to make them. Tried again and ordered the steak Oscar special. It was pretty nice. They tend to over salt so ask them to back off- decent prices. Nice service- great service at bar. I will still be back. One of the top choices in Devils Lake.

Was seated at 730pm. By 930pm still didn’t have our food. Was checked once by the server in that time. About 850pm found a server and asked what the wait was. Was told it would be done in 15-20 min. Server came out 20 min later and asked if we wanted to wait or leave. At this point it was near dark and had to boat back across the lake to the campsite. Asked the server if management would comp half our meal for the wait. After 20 min server had not returned with an answer so we left without ever getting our food. It’s understandable things get busy at times but it was not THAT busy. And if it’s going to be a long wait for food the server should mention that before they seat you. Ate there the weekend of the 4th and it was pretty average wait times. Don’t know what the issue was tonight but we were very dissatisfied and it will be hard to go back to eat after this.

We ate dinner there on a Friday night and the place wasn’t too busy. The food was quite good and the young lady that took care was very nice and pleasant. It is really a nice place with great views. We stopped in the store and bought a few items also. We will definitely go back here when in the area.

WATCH YOUR BILL! Per the menu and our server the Walleye dinner came with sides and the server described them for us. When we received the bill the sides were all added costs (expensive added costs!). Unfortunately we didn’t notice until after we left and things weren’t adding up. The view was wonderful, the food marginal.

Took over 90 min to get a Cheeseburger and personal pizza. Wasn’t busy. Our waitress was not friendly. We had to ask 4 different staff to help us figure out what’s going on with our order bc people who came after us had been served and they ordered pizza. My burger was cold. The pizza was not warm.
