We went around 2:00 on 8/28/23. No crowd, only around 6 people in restaurant. Waitress was friendly. Took our order promptly. We got our food within 5 minutes. Fries were cold, burger was barely warm, cheese was not even melted. Hotdogs were warm. Dr. Pepper was nice and cold! We ate our sandwiches, could not eat the fries. Waitress did not come back to check until we were ready to leave. The manager did offer us free food, but we paid and left a tip. The manager was working in the kitchen, she sent the food out cold. I will not be back.

We have been there twice now and we have only had their hot dogs and fries. Food was good, the chili was ok and fries were good. Price is excellent. Will be back to try other menu items.

1st hotdog given had a stale hard bun . Remake was cold and sloppy. Will never return. Ok went back in third time. Asked for manager. She prepares hotdog herself. Neater presentation but same result. Everything cold. Writing this review as I bite into hotdog. Wiener cold, bread room temp. Chili Luke warm. Wouldn’t you think after 2 complaints I could get a decent HD? Guess not . Systemic problem with these chain locations. Never had a cold hotdog at original. Chili usually burned you mouth. Sad we ont be in business long.

Service was great but I was anticipating more I guess from the food. They weren’t busy and when we got our food the burger was cold. I let the server know and I had another one in less than minute. I’m pretty sure they are not cooked to order. Disappointing to say the least but not the worst either.

I have been going to Zacks in Burlington since the early 00’s and honestly had lost interest in the food. The new location has completely brought me back in as a customer. My family and I all agreed that the food at this location was vastly better and the service we had was great. My one critique would be the decor needs some attention to make it feel more “at home” but I think that’s going to be remedied with the passing of time. I am thrilled to see a local company expanding and truly believe that once they’re rolling, people will love it. Great first impression of the new location and i look forward to seeing it progress. Food was hot, fresh and fast. I am really glad to see some of the Blue Ribbon staff has been brought on as well. Our server was a young brunette girl who worked a the diner previously, I can’t recall her name but she did a fantastic job and was super sweet. Thank you for a wonderful experience young lady and to the staff as well!

Please put something else on the TV other than news, don’t you think we get enough of that junk? All that money to invest in a restaurant, yet you don’t put any effort it seems to improve the quality of your product. It’s consistently sub par. I keep wanting to believe that the food will be good, but it never is. Look at your ratings, who is responsible for cooking and ordering? Maybe you need to make a change.

Had my normal combo and cheeseburger all the way. Food was great and was the service . And as always Darren ( the manager) came by the table to make sure everything was good with the food and to chat as me and my wife frequent all 3 locations and have for many years.
