Fosters Main Street Tavern has been a part of the Main Street nostalgia for some time now. Originally Fosters Hardware, the transformation into a fun, Cheers-like tavern brought a great addition to Beckley Main Street.

Legendary local spot. It’s the “Cheers” of our town. I had dropped my phone as I was a DD for loved ones on a Saturday night. The nicest young lady messaged me on FB on her day off to come pick it up as they were not open on Monday and Tuesday. Thank you so much and Foster’s always holds place in our hearts.

The staff is so genuine and nice. I never feel uncomfortable coming here unlike cheers and the other places. I definitely reccomend coming and trying the wings, they have a fantastic selection of beer and mixed drinks. You’ll definitely enjoy yourself.

This place would make a great Football (Soccer) Bar. Typical American pub food. I had the bleu cheese burger and fries. Very tasty meal. Draft selection could be improved, with more craft beers. We visited in the summer we practically had the place to ourselves. I am sure the place gets a lot more traffic during the weekends and university “in session” time. Waitstaff was very nice. We would stop again if ever in the area. I really enjoyed the Tin ceiling tiles.

Food was good, service was excellent! Krystal was very attentive, making sure our drinks were full and that our dining needs were met! She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the local events that were going on. As people who don’t sit still for very long, we like to eat and visit like locals – and this place made us feel at home!

Went here for Halloween, fantastic food and service. Sat at the bar and had wings, we ordered Hot and Chernobyl. Had a Tucker Speed ipa, Cashmere ipa, and had a taster of most local breweries beers. Bartender was dressed festively, live music, great time all around.

What a wonderful tavern! It’s got a fun vibe and decor is great! They serve pub food that’s very tasty and well prepared. Delicious burgers and onion rings. Nice selection of beers. Our server and the owner were very friendly! They offer a clever happy hour where you get a ticket to reveal your discount. A fun spin on happy hour. Prices are very reasonable as well and it’s nice and clean. Highly recommend this tavern for anyone, including families!
