I couldn’t wait to get on here and review this place! We are visiting the area and when we saw hole in the wall place, or small business. We knew it would be good. Well it was amazing! We have traveled all over the US and Mexico. I can tell you this is authentic and the flavors are amazing! Nothing is over flavored or under flavored. We ordered the soup they are known for, it’s a huge bowl you will need no more food than that. We also ordered several other items to try. All incredible! If we ever come back I can assure you we will be back!

Coming from southern california, we were missing something here, but El Lupillo’s was just what we needed. We got quite a bit of food and everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I really enjoyed the birria tacos and pupusa’s. Salsa’s were spicy, our daughter loved her quesadilla, and my husband enjoyed the tacos. We will definitely be back.

Tiny Mexican restaurant easily missed if you don’t know it is there. Specializes in “dip tacos” and does an excellent job with them. Not a romantic date sort of place but great food and fast service!

This is absolutely authentic Mexican food! I oughta know – I’m from California, where there’s incredible Mexican food. Had the street tacos and they were delicious! Corn tacos. The beef was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The tacos had plenty of onions and a very spicy green sauce on the side. I think it was a cilantro sauce, but not 100% sure. Packs a punch, but it doesn’t blow out your palette. It’s favorfully spicy. I like the down-home atmosphere and the service was great. Friendly people and outstanding eats. Lots of neighborhood folks dining in and taking out on Saturday evening. I’ll see you soon El Lupillo!

Small business but delicious tacos had Pollo, asada, and carnitas. All delicious with homemade tortillas. The horchata was a bit watered down but good. Would love the chance to go again.

The lady who gets the orders not nice at all, all though they have good food but not coming back. They need to get some training how to treat a customer. Customer is the key to keep your business on.

El Lupillo has been one of our favorite lunch spots for the last several years. Awesome tacos, laid-back atmosphere, nice people. I can’t think of a better place to get a taco on the gulf coast.

This is my second time eating here, the first time I ate by myself on a whim and the second time I brought my boyfriend and we both agreed that it’s the best tacos we’ve had in the area.

100% best authentic food I’ve ever had! The birria tacos are my favorite but everything they offer is on point.

First time going there, I wasn’t impressed by the tacos, the meat was a bit too salty and overcooked, my husband’s rice was very dry and crunchy, his taco al pastor was very salty too. The place was decently cleaned, the soda machine had a little mold on the bottom. I give them a 4 out of 10 on their tacos.
