Best Mexican food in town. Service is good, quantity for price is so good, taste is good, drinks are good… Will surely take my friends again to taste other items

The food was alright. Not our favorite, but certainly not the worst we’ve had.

This was our first visit. Ambiance was nice – not too loud but had light music. Well designed. Food was very good. The wife had the seafood burrito – she loved it. I had the nachos and they even remade it when I forgot to ask for no beans. The meat was excellent.

We came here not expecting much and found it to be excellent. A great drink, cucumber margarita. And Laura and I could not complain about the food or service.

Lovely little restaurant but beware of food descriptions. River Run Fajitas do not describe that they come swimming in a tomato juice based sauce. I asked to omit the stewed tomatoes in the grilled vegetables but it was kind of was a moot point to come swimming in tomato juice. Also, the shrimp were so overcooked that they were rubber. The vegetables were so undercooked that I could not stick a fork in the peppers especially. For $21 I got 8 rubber shrimp and some beans. My son liked his food because he was ok with the tomato juice but his vegetables were also raw. Disappointing because it’s such a cute place with great service. Nothing in the description talks about the tomato based sauce. They did offer to fix something else but my son was almost done and I did not have time to wait for another meal to be prepared.

Even though the restaurant was short staffed, the service was great. You are warned to be patient by a sign at the door. The server acted as the greeter, host, busboy and bartender as well and despite that was fast, attentive and courteous. My guest was visiting from Mexico and was critical of the food and although it wasn’t presented as she is used to, it was still very good and seasoned correctly. For the area with tourists and locals, it was a great find.

This is a great place to stop by and have your dinner, after a long hot day at the beach. Food taste good and the staff they’re all great people. I had a “Steak Ranchero” and that thing was just delicious!

Fantastic Mexican food. Regular salsa is perfect if you like it on the spicy side. If spicy is not your thing then they do have a plain salsa option. Portion sizes are good. Kids portions are huge. Super friendly service. I am from the north so outdoor dining on the patio in December was a nice bonus.

Ordered at 9:20pm on Tuesday night and our food was fresh, hot, authentic and delicious. Staff did not make us feel rushed even though they were closing soon. Friendly and checked on us frequently. Would definitely order the Caritas Molca Jete, authentic and delicious! My husband had the chicken quesadilla, also fantastic! With Margaritas of course!
