In this local dinner is a caring staff that work in a “find an open seat” smallish room that houses 3 booths, 11 countertop stools, 2 tables for 2, a cooler and a grill in which the 3 servers all work at to fill your order.

Tiny local small town cafe. This darling place is the Two Rivers (‘Trivers’) version of Lake Wobegon’s Chatterbox Cafe. Can’t help but catch up on local news & gossip. Counter w/ stools, 3-4 small booths, & a couple of small tables- if more than 3-4 in party, you may have a difficult time sitting together. Classic diner menu w/ daily specials & a basic kids menu (please be sure your kids are fairly well-behaved!). The small staff- including Connie most days- is outgoing & efficient. The food is delicious w/ ample portions.

Cute, tiny restaurant with a retro theme. Very clean & well kept. The staff was very friendly & attentive even though busy. I ordered my eggs “over medium” & they were perfectly cooked. Not fried on too high of heat turning edges brown & crisp.. I hate that! Also had piece homemade rhubarb pie ala mode, was delicious! Would definitely visit again on our way to Door County.

Great diner experience. The world needs more Connie’s. The raw fries, which are actually fresh made potato chips, are FANTASTIC! Meat loaf was delicious. Cheezborger with bacon and BBQ sauce on the side is highly recommend.

We’ve order take out a few times and could not complain about one thing! Food is good and hearty portions! Soup and chili is amazing. Everything tastes great, has plenty of seasoning and is always cooked just right! The ladies behind the counter are always helpful as well!
