The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I had the western omelette w biscuits n gravy n my daughter had the Patriot breakfast. Def will be coming back! The people were also super nice!

I have lived in the area for almost 20 years and decided Saturday I would give it a try. When others who walked in after my party were seated before our party is when we should have left. Was told the wait was 15 minutes, turned out to be 30-45 minutes. After confronting the host about seating we were told you could call in to reserve a table and order ahead. Not too many know of this service it seems. Nice to see if you’re not a regular you don’t get treated with the same service. I ordered the large OJ, I was asked by the server “you’re aware that large OJ is $4.95 right?”, I was very aware after reading over the menu the 30-45 minutes I waited for a table after the regulars were seated. My question is why am I being questioned for ordering what I wanted? Does everyone get questioned if they order the large OJ? Had to ask for straws and refills. What was wrong with me and my spouse as to why we didn’t receive the same delightful customer service everyone else was receiving? The ladies room can also use some cleaning, the sink looked like it had never seen a spray of cleaner, the toilet appeared to have last nights leftovers sprayed on it, and no soap. Don’t count on my funds to return to offer support! No excuses will be accepted for the service received here.

Nice breakfast. Nothing fancy. No bells and whistles but the breakfast food was enjoyable. I was not disappointed in the food ,except for the grits. Didn’t care for them and didn’t eat them. Had senior breakfast sandwich with bacon Swiss cheese scrambled egg on wheat toast with a side of grits.

Traditional, southern meat and three with all the right fixings. Ladies are down to earth, southern, and although busy not adverse to banter. Counter ladies are gracious enough to point out dishes that contain hidden bacon or lard. Very fast and smooth operations.

This diner has a good variety of food. I had the hamburger steak with brown gravy, a salad, and fried okra. It was all delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Also you gotta eat a biscuit. Melts in your mouth. Desert it also very tasty.

We were very excited to stumble across this diner on our way to Panama City Beach. It has everything you look for in an old diner. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was outstanding. Definitely home-cooked. The downside? Over an hour the three of us to get our food. The servers were all working together making things happen and keeping the refills flowing. I was most impressed with the bacon. It was thick and very flavorful. I saw another table of 6 waiting longer than us for their food. The server apologized for their weight multiple times and when it finally did show up the waitress let them know SHE paid for one of their meals. She said, “So that gave you $11 off.” They seemed satisfied with that. I don’t understand why the server of all people made up for the store’s shortcomings. I dont know the server’s name but she should get her $11 back.

Good food, service can be very slow, and I mean very slow. The last two times we went here for breakfast it took an hour and a half to eat. The space is cramped, outdated, and needs some work. Recommend trying it for lunch or breakfast.
