Decent restaurant, decent food, usually good service. Good burgers and sandwiches, and the fajitas are worth mentioning. Specialty drink menu is also quite good. Sometimes that rotate things in the menu and remove a favorite which makes it hard to find a new go to. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the carrot cake. Has nice outdoor seating as well, though you might want to call ahead.

Remember the show Cheers? Well, Farrell’s feels like an everybody-knows-your-name kind of place. The regular I entered with was casually greeted by name and everyone seemed to know one another. The staff were wonderful and the food was decent. This created an ambiance which helped compensate for the serious lack of character and esthetics in the building. The prices were higher than expected but there were plenty of menu options, including (weekly?) specials which were recommended by the regulars.

The food was amazing. I was looking for a nice clean pub feel where everyone knows each but we could be incognito. I had the Cheeseburger in Paradise Salad. It was really really good. Both my brother and husband had sirloin beef tips. They were mouth watering. The portions were so generous, that we all brought leftovers home for lunch the next day.

We love this place!!! Moved to Portland just over a year ago and hit all of the local haunts… And this one has become part of our permanent rotation. This is not the Farrell’s of old. This chef knows how to turn out awesome food!!! Really great food, awesome drinks, and exceptional service. The lead bartender, Jen, is in a class all to herself. Clive and I will be back every single week.
