WOW! Today was my first time at Pastries of Denmark, and I will absolutely be back! The service was phenomenal and fast, and the food was delicious. I tried the turkey and bacon sandwich, the chicken noodle soup, and picked up a variety of desserts. Definitely recommend this place!

I was surprised at how dingy and depressing the atmosphere is here. I had long heard about this shop and thought it would have more ambient character. There is no music and one can only hear the whirring of the pastry display case refrigerators. Not a good place to enjoy a pastry and tea or coffee, in my opinion.

I used to absolutely love this place! Their pastries were like no other! Napoleons, truffles galore, specialty pastries, and the cupcakes! Now there is not a huge selection, macarons, which pretty much all ya have that “been in the freezer too long taste.” Glorified brownies, and cakes were the biggest offerings. I spent nearly $40 and nothing was outstanding, and everything had that same freezer taste, which was very off-putting. It’s totally changed post-pandemic, and not in a good way. This makes me sad, it was such a treat to go and get a pastry. Not to mention the girl that helped me made me feel like I was interrupting her. She wasn’t friendly or helpful!

This is exactly what a bakery should be. Well made savories, well made coffee and well made sweets. What else do you need? The omelet was a bit overdone which I like occasionally and had liberal tasty toppings. Veggie omelette had cheese crisped on the side and great quality mushrooms and olives. Well done. Rum ball was ok, and underwhelmed compared to the rest of the meal. All in all, plenty there to go and discover yourself.

This is a reliable restaurant with fantastic, fresh sandwiches, soups, and pastries. Their display cabinet of delectables is a marvel with the number of different offerings. Staff are pleasant, and take-out is a breeze. Great spot for lunch take-out.

Sadly this place is not what it used to be. Maybe new ownership? I ordered two sandwiches and one came as a salad. When I asked to switch it to the sandwich they threw the salad on a ciabatta (the only bread they had available). It had a special sauce which is not the usual sauce and American cheese which I find cheap and gross. The description says Swiss. I ended up throwing it away as it was a bunch of loose salad on bread and a disaster. Did not taste good either. Waste of $12.99. Won’t be back and this used to be one of my favorite lunch places.

We needed a cake at the last minute and drove around to several ‘bakeries ‘and ‘cake shops’. No one had a single cake. Incredibly bizarre considering their names. This was the first time I have been into pastries of Denmark. They blew me away. The options were endless. Everything was stunning on display. I walked out with more than what I went in for! highly recommend and will definately return

Great breakfast spot with plenty of pastries, sandwiches and other breakfast items. My wife requested off menu item – bagel with scramble eggs and veggies. It was done perfectly! I loves Danish country omelets.

This place and it’s food is “looks good on the outside but not the inside.” Like others who have reviewed, desserts from dessert case has that old freezer taste. My kid didn’t know better but I had to stop him from eating them.

Very dissapointed. The food is good but this is a photo of my $13 dollar sandwich this is the actual size this isn’t half of a sandwich…it’s the whole thing its about the size of a McDonald’s breakfast biscuit. And then we have my $9 bowl of soup which the container is 1/4 filled about a a quarter cup of soup.
