Tamales
Tamales Are A Tradition In Mexican Families And Are Native From Mexico Dating Back Many Centuries
Tamales are traditionally made for the holiday season but we do make Pork Tamales year round. Our tamales are freshly made with masa, fresh made mole, hand cooked pork. Our Tamales are then hand-spread, filled and rolled, and prepared for steaming…
Stove Top
In a large pot pour 2 to 3 inches of water, bring to a boil. Place tamales in a steam basket or metal colander. Place basket or colander in the pot (water should not touch the tamales). Cover and steam for 20 to 30 minutes.
Microwave
Cover bottom of microwave safe casserole dish with 1/4 inch of water. Place tamales in dish, cover with lid or plastic wrap. Microwave for approximately 10 minutes on high. Time will vary with oven and number of tamales heated.

I’m so glad I stumbled across this place! The service was excellent! The waitresses were attentive and generous with the chips and salsa and drink refills. I was craving crunchy tacos with cheese. Not many places make these any more. They were large and so flavorful. I would highly recommend this place.

2 out of 4 of our plates that we ordered were basically untouched. It did not taste good at all. To make it right they offered 2 $5 coupons. I don’t plan on being back so I did not accept the coupons. Overpriced for the quality.

So, first time buying here and last order to go, and when picking up my order I’ve noticed there was no pico de gallo or any hot sauce, so I asked for a couple to go, and they told me I have to purchase it because they only provide pico and chips to dinning in ONLY! What a joke, so next time I wont TIP on to go orders since they are so dam chip to provide two little cups of chip on my $34 dollar order.

I’ve ate here about 10 times within the past few years. Have to say today wasn’t as good as the other times though. My Chile Verde Wet Burrito had no rice even though that’s what I asked for. It was delicious, but i prefer when the food is made to order. It was still a nice lunch with my husband and mother-in-law while we were in Madera.
