I guess this is supposed to be a New York pizza place. They do call you “boss” with authentic NY flair. Honestly though, I’ve never had even a $1 slice in New York that tasted this bad. The tomato sauce is terrible. The dough is passable. The cheese is forgettable. I don’t expect anything in California to really compete with New York, I just thought I could find something that could compete with a low end New York pizzeria. So far: no.

I’ve been in south Oxnard my whole life and I’ve never tried this place until today. I ordered one freshly made pizza slice of pepperoni and green pepper, and one lasagna. The food was exceptionally good! Especially the lasagna. Absolutely worth the trip over here. Mom and pop shop for sure. There was one girl working there that I saw and right away after she took my ordered she prepared the food it was done in 10 minutes. Pizza was also super delicious! If I have to make one small complaint it’s that I wish the piece of bread she gave me with the lasagna was toasted. But very minor complaint .. apart from that the food was superb!

Bought many pizzas from this restaurant when Freddy was alive and now I still go there that man had a great smile always greeted you like family will be missed but I do highly recommend this place it’s great pizza and a great atmosphere for family and friends keep up the good work as I know Freddy’s looking down make sure they’re doing it right

Went to Freddy’s pizza for the first time I have to say the pizza was just an average pizza also the price is absurd. $19 for a “large” pepperoni pizza next time I’ll just stick with little ceasars and save some $$$ little ceasars tastes the same if not better.
