I’ve traveled to many countries in search for some of the best restaurants with the best food. When I was in Italy I had some Bolognese and it was delicious do authentic, texture was amazing and taste was breathtaking. I’ve ordered the same all across America, but never could find as good a dish as the one I had in Italy. Until,I came to a small town outside of Saint Louis Called Ladue at a Restaurant Called Giovanni’s Kitchen. The good was meant for the gods but I was allowed to eat there. The Bolognese was immaculate and would recommend Giovanni’s Kitchen to anyone in search of Amazing Authentic Italian food. I also had a Italian Martini that was flavorful and at the same time did its job. AMAZING RESTAURANT MOST GO. MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS!!!!

Dinner was great but dessert was amazing! Panna Cotta Trio is a must and my wife had the Torta di Cioccolata which was also good. Great staff and very friendly.

Plain and simple, truly one of the best meals my family and I have ever had. Celebrating my wife B Day with 17 and 14 year old daughters, we all thought this was a outstanding meal. The service was great I believe John took care of us. The host gave us the history of the Presidential entree. The clam chowder soup and salads were a great. We’ve been to a lot of nice upscale restaurants, here in St. Louis and vacationing this was worth the reasonable pricing. So if our in the mode for authentic Italian food GO! We’ll be going back again soon to explore other items on the menu. John said they have excellent pizza as well and lower priced entrees were equally as delicious, can’t wait 🙂

My husband and I went for a dinner together and everything was great. The service was wonderful and the staff was very prompt with everything. It’s a little over priced for what you get. I ordered the small plate of a stuffed cheese pasta and it was 12 dollars for 3 of them and 4.50 for a budlight bottle. It was a nice experience but not easy on the wallet.

Absolutely wonderful dinning experience. Simone did an excellent job of taking care of us. Great drinks before during and after dinner. The food was amazing, well prepared and presented very well. The tiramaso which is made in house, is the absolute best that I have had anywhere in the world!

I have been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was mediocre. The pasta bolognese was OK but certainly not worth $18. The trout was too salty. On the plus side, the location was convenient. The setting was pleasant, and the service was good. Overall, this restaurant simply does not offer value for money, which is the opposite of what Italian cuisine usually provides.

Food is great, however the size of the entry is unbelievably small. Ordered a full dinner size pasta, and turned out it is not even close to the half order size of other Italian restaurants. What a joke! Pasta should be cheap, just noodles, not as seafood or veal, which I would understand for cost reason.

Most pasta dishes come in 2 sizes, which is fantastic. I wish more places did this. They have a good wine selection and some tasty cocktails. The food all tasted delicious. The Lemoncello cake is phenomenal, don’t leave without trying it.

This was our third time at Giovanni’s kitchen. I made the reservation thru open table two week in advance. Our experience was not good. First of all the man who seats you made us feel like a second class citizen since we are not in there every saturday. Our service was terrible our waitress was in another planet. She would forget what we requested. She did not check on our table for drinks etc. Our reservation was for 6:30pm. We did not get our food till 8:15. It took her over a half hour to bring our check. We were very disappointed. Our waiter last time was wonderful. We will no be going back
