Ordered pickup . Was ready at the bar in 1hr time . Staff was polite . Staff & patrons not masked . $2 fee for pick up . Silverware not provided . Food was wrapped appropriately . French onion soup was quite different , but good . It was thick and hearty almost like a vegetable soup but without the veggies (celery was in it though) . Small amount of cheese was melted to the top of the lid on the to-go container only (that was weird). Sweet potato tots were good, you don’t get that many (was still hungry after the meal) . Veggies were bland so I dipped them in the soup . Filet mignon was grilled as ordered (medium rare). The slab of bacon was not good (didn’t eat it) . Normal iceberg lettuce side salad with 2 olives .

I’m hoping this place isn’t going under or something as it used to be a favorite place to eat. Just ate dinner there tonight and we were the only 2 people there took 35 mins for salads and a hour for our meal which was fine. When we left we tipped our waitress 10$ for the 2 meals we had didn’t order drinks or anything extra, upon leaving we were chased down in the parking lot by the owner holding our bill and asked if something was wrong. Upon replying no she said well you only tipped 10$ and asked for more so we gave more being so flabbergasted as to what was going on. I’ve never been approached while in my car and asked for more money. IM HOPING THIS PLACE ISN’T GOING UNDER OR HAVING TROUBLE PAYING THEIR EMPLOYEES TO THE EXTENT THEY ARE IN THE PARKING LOT BEGGING FOR MORE. WILL NEVER RETURN NOW. Do better!

Server Matt tried his best and was pleasant! He deserves the 18% gratuity that is added to the checks. Sister in law of the owner is the rudest most sarcastic person I’ve ever come across in the hospitality business. Owner was busy at bar, so we justified our long wait. Waited to be acknowledged at the door despite a reservation. We seated ourselves in the empty dining room. At exactly 9:00 pm sister in law of owner stood in the dining room facing us and made announcement “party is over”.

The food and the atmosphere are excellent here. Being from out of town, this was only my second time here, but I would highly recommend this place. Everything from the service to the food and the feel are worth a visit and the filet was outstanding.

Our waiter Ashley was so welcoming she made us feel like we were at home my girls them really liked her we were there for dinner tonight and both night we had Ashley as our waiter I recommend this place to anyone if you’re ever in the Poconos in Drums PA please go and try it they’re very friendly and welcoming food was delicious tonight we have the chef special and it was amazing I believe Kathy or Katherine I’m not sure which one it’s the owner she was very friendly as well at the end of our dinner she came by and check on us and have a little chat.
