One star is too much for this place. Do NOT ORDER from Papa Rays. I ordered a salad the right picture is what I ordered. The left picture is what I got. Lettuce and tomatoes. $12 salad for lettuce and tomatoes! I also did not receive marinara for my other items nor salad dressing. When I called the owner told me this my problem and no refund. He would give me a $5 credit for future orders, however I had to spend a certain amount in order to use the credit. Be warned stay away from here.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! This place IS NOT THE SAME! They changed owners and it is TERRIBLE now! I ordered a pizza last Friday and there was almost no sauce on it at all. I called to speak to someone, and they took my number and said someone would call me back. That never happened. I had to go in there and talk to someone, and he agreed to give me a free pizza, and recommended ordering extra sauce next time. Ok…. fine. I did. Tonight I got the pizza with “extra sauce”. SAME THING! No sauce!!!! Not to mention, the amount of sausage is minimal. Just a shame what happened to what was once a great pizza place. I’ve also tried their Italian Beef, which is atrocious now. I’ve given the new owners enough of my money, but I’m done now. The food is terrible, especially for their jacked up prices!

This pizza is under done. No sauce with wings. No social distancing. Called and a teenager said “oh like the manager isn’t here or whatever he’ll call you back.” Um.. doesn’t help me eat here. First time and done. *update* Never got a credit. Returned their call and they never answered. Fantastic way to do business. They don’t wear masks and the health department has been there quite a bit. It’s all over the CS town pages with quite the list of complaints.

On more than one occasion my order has been incorrect. Every time, blame has been placed on the app ordered through. I have ordered from various other restaurants using the same app without any issues, so this is the last time we ever order from Papa Rays in Carol Stream.

We’ve been going here for over 5 years now. It’s my favorite pizza place. But the quality has been declining and they almost always got our order wrong. We took it in stride because we understand accidents happen. But tonight, I received my pizza and it was so severely undercooked, it looked like it had been throw in a microwave. When I arrived to pick up my replacement, 5 minutes after the alotted time, I’m told it’ll be 2 to 3 minutes and it ends up being more like 10. Every customer in the store had a similar story. Sad to say, I will not be going back. Also, no body was wearing masks and neither was their delivery driver.

Gross. The chicken is abnormally huge. They threw in incorrect items. Pizza was sitting out for a while. Last time eating here was 2 years ago and it was delicious and fresh with plenty of toppings. Now the monster pizza barely has any sauce or toppings. Sad. Sad. Sad

Phoned ahead here for pick-up. Got there, paid, and then was told “we accidentally gave your order to someone else.” Since I wasn’t able to wait there while the order was remade, I was told they’d deliver, for free, in ten minutes. When the order was finally delivered, WELL OVER AN HOUR LATER, the drinks that were part of a combo order were missing. That, and the delivery driver wouldn’t get out of the vehicle to complete the delivery, we had to go outside to get it. We’d be stupid to order from there again unless they offer a refund or a reorder for free. But the best they’ll do is say they’ll try to learn from their mistake, IF they bother to reply at all.
