I have heard many good things about Jonathan’s, so I decided to treat myself to it last night. I have to say, it was the best food I’ve had. Every plate was so perfectly balanced & you could taste every flavor/ingredient used.

What a Gem in Delavan! At the suggestion of a friend of ours, my wife and I went out with another couple to this amazing restaurant, and we are happy to find another incredible, unique, higher end restaurant. We had steaks and they were very delicious. Service and atmosphere were fantastic. Dessert (bread putting) super delicious! They also have outdoor seating. We sat inside. Love this place.

The food was amazing. The steak was cooked perfect. The fish my fiance had was very delicious in each flavor. The desserts were to die for especially the white chocolate BREAD pudding with caramel sauce. Jay our sever was sensational. We’ll definitely be back when we return to Delavan this summer.

We had a celebration dinner for a party of 9 everything was absolutely delicious from the artichoke spinach dip, the cheese curds, french onion soup (the best I’ve tried so far), the lamb was superb, others ordered the porkchop and Johnathons chicken and all said it was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the service and attention to making go the best it can.

Our server, Chloe, was unbelievable. There were more than half a dozen specials and she knew all of them with variations and costs. Friendly, upbeat, polite, perfect. Each appetizer and entree was fantastic. The scallop appetizer comes with 3 scallops but as a party of 4 they modified to make it 4. Meats were cooked as ordered – I like rare and that’s what I got. Others went medium rare and medium – all met the request. My wife had the mixed grill which is a regular menu option. From that, the star was the Pork Tenderloin with Door County Cherry Port reduction. Whatever you order, you won’t go wrong.

We did a tasting at Jonathan’s restaurant before our wedding and were blown away with how good all of the food, appetizers, salads, and rolls were and all of the options for customizing our meals. On our wedding day, the food was absolutely incredible and we got SO many compliments from our guests. I was amazed that my dinner tasted the same at the tasting as it did when they prepared 120 meals at the same time. We really appreciated Tiffany, chef Jonathan, and the rest of the staff’s hard work and talent. They were amazing to work with and I could not recommend them enough!

The mussels & Oysters Rockefeller were delectable. I ordered the fish trio & even though I was told the size before I ordered, was disappointed in the small portions. That being said, highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass. You will not be disappointed in it’s size or fantastic flavor. My husband ordered the 30 day aged bone‐in Ribeye for $80. He ordered it medium rare & received it medium well. He does not like to complain so did not send it back, however, this totally soured him on our first dining experience here (thus, the reason for a 4 * rating rather than 5 stars). French Onion soup is one the best I’ve ever had in my 52 years on this Earth. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his brandy old-fashioned sweets with olives. Waitress, Kat, was excellent. She had all of the specials memorized & very knowledgeable regarding wines. She even went to the basement to look for pear liquor for me (which they were out of). Definitely save room for their fantastic assortment of desserts!

Amazing!! The food was divine! My group had cheese curds, steak kabobs and spinach artichoke dip for apps, French onion soup and filet mignon for dinner and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was all beyond!! The service was impeccable, atmosphere cozy, martinis and old fashioneds amazing. Pricey, but the perfect place for a special occasion! Worth every penny! That was my first visit, but it won’t be my last!!!

I give this place a 5 star review. My reasons why are #1 there is really nice and friendly staff, #2 the food is presented and is amazing, and #3 the place looks and is fancy. The food price range is a little pricey but not too bad, 20-100$. There are also in-house achohol bottles ranging from 20-190$, plus some have a single glass option. Overall, this place is definitely worth it if you have the budget.
