Hole Mole!!! This adorable “hole” in the wall serves up some fantastic tacos. I’ve been trying to get here for months, but have never stopped because it’s always packed and they only have street parking. Today was my day! I did park couple of blocks away, but it was worth it. The Ensenada style fish and shrimp tacos were very good. The bean and cheese burrito was large and stuffed with beans and cheese. The chips were fresh and crispy and the salsas were fresh, too. But the crispy potato tacos were HOLE MOLE!!! I haven’t had a crunchy taco since I gave up meat. They are amazing. The taco shell is fried to perfection and when you bite it, it doesn’t fall apart.

You don’t get better than this for authentic Mexican fast food! Taco Tuesday gave shrimp, fish, chicken and another shrimp for $8 with lots of salad and sauces and limes to please yourself with. Earthy, hot and busy. Go where the locals go!

I ordered the smoked brisket burrito which while good was one that I believe I should have skipped. While good, the brisket overpowered different parts of the burrito and there was too much fat for my liking. That said, members of my group had the other burritos and loved them, and I would go back to try a different burrito in the future.

You can’t beat Taco Tuesdays. The fish taco is the best and the chilli’s, to die for. Ever since I was introduced to this place, I find myself back every other week or so. I am also inviting friends from out of town as well. Delicious on a budget.
