Decided to try this out when it was parked in front of Stillwater Music last Saturday. It was some of the best food I’ve had in Durango. I practically slurped the jerk chicken off the plate, and I don’t know that I’ve ever had a better slaw. Very generous portions. Also got the Jamaican sandwich, and the meat had that tender/crisp combo that was perfect, and it had this sauce that was like rich smoked something I had never tasted before. So good.

We saved the best for the last. After a week of food hunting in the area we were surprised with this awesome place. We had the corn bread, coleslaw, brisket. Our friends had ribs, chicken and bunch of other stuff. All good!!! Oh and the sweet habanero salsa is good!!!!!!!

If you haven’t gone, you’re missing out!!! This place is amazing. The flavor is sooo Rico OMG. I ordered the 3 little pigs. And as you can see their servings are worth the money. I also ordered the avocado shake it’s not a sweet shake, but more of a rich creamy hearty shake. The brisket was juicy and full of flavor. We will definitely be going back. Chris and Alexa were very hospitable. Over all they get by thumbs up. 5 star review

This is hands down has to be the best spot in town. If you want a great vibe and authentic Jamaican food, stop by Juicy’s Shanty. Coming from a jamaican background myself, this food tasted even better than growing up. The jerk chicken was on point and the coconut rice and peas were delicious. Stop by and you won’t be disappointed.

Wow! Felt like we just hit the jackpot with Juicy’s Shanty. Got the Carolina and Pork BBQ plates and it was amazing. Pretty easy to get burnt out on tacos if you live in Durango so if you are looking for something different and truly wonderful, try Juicy’s. We got a massive amount of food with multiple sides and all in it was still only $50. I think this is more than reasonable for a massive amount of high quality food. Plus, we had leftovers and the food was ready within 10min of ordering. Don’t miss this spot, seriously.

This was the best lunch I have bought in Durango in a long time. The food had a perfect spice and flavor. Ox Tail Soup, was a must, the Jerk Chicken was tender, Collard Greens and the Coconut Rice & Beans had such a fresh taste. Also the good service made for a all around A+ experience.
