I grabbed lunch at Fil-Am Fusion Food Truck today and Can we take a minute to appreciate how much food there is?! I got the BBQ Chicken Skewers weekly special with the garlic rice, which also included Pancit and slaw. I also grabbed an order of Turon – which are these wonderfully crispy, delicate banana stuffed spring roll wrappers with a light caramel drizzle.

In a town that isn’t necessarily know for being culturally diverse in their restaurants Fil-Am Fusion is a breath of fresh air. We stopped at Fil-Am Fusion after a bike ride along the rails to trails, and it’s super easy and quick stop if you’re looking to fuel up. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. We couldn’t have been happier with the food and the service.

Everything… and I mean everything we ate was delicious. Refreshingly vibrant and full of bold flavors. The tosilog with garlic rice & the pork adobo with garlic rice were both equally amazing. The Calamansi juice is perfectly tangy and sweet like a limeade and the coconut juice with with pulp tastes like dessert in a can. Thank you Angie and the gang – for not only the authentic flavors, but your willingness to push the boundaries of food in northern Michigan! ALSO, MAKE SURE TO TREAT YOURSELF TO THE VEGGIE SPRING ROLLS!

Biked here with the family yesterday for a fantastic lunch! Everything was delicious. Kids ate most of my husband’s adobo pork before he even had a chance to taste it. Lumpia, garlic rice and the Matt burger (bacon onion relish – so good!) were all great. Even tried the beet burger – I’m not vegetarian, but I’d absolutely order that again. Shaved ice and lemonade were also a refreshing treat for a hot day. Definitely looking forward to eating here again!

Tried the lumpia with garlic rice and pancit, the xabin burger, and the turon. Everything was great! There are options for vegetarian and gluten free folks as well. Highly recommend this place!

Nice little addition to the food trucks in town. The burgers and the Philippino food are both delicious. The cucumber salad they give the burgers is super tasty. We’ve loved everything we’ve tried so far!

My husband and I stopped to eat since our friends recommended. It was fabulous. We added the hibiscus drinks which paired great with the pork dishes. Friendly and fast service! Highly recommend and come hungry.

I love Filipino food and was thrilled to find out this truck opened recently. It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to have lumpia and pancit, so I opted for the lumpia dinner. I tried the hibiscus drink and the casava cake. The lumpia is excellent and beautifully crispy. I’ve never had casava cake, so decided to try it. Definitely worth the money! It isn’t too sweet and has just enough coconut milk. I look forward to working my way through the rest of the menu.
