Had sushi for lunch here yesterday. The restaurant is in a nice little plaza area. The restaurant is decorated very nicely very authentic vibe. I love how it made you feel you were really eating at a Japanese sushi restaurant in old japan. The server was very nice very polite. They have buy one specialty roll get one half off. The rolls were a bit pricey but good sizes. The poke bowls were a good size as well and everything tasted fresh and made to order. I would recommend this place for sure if you want sushi in Long Beach!

Been coming here for nearly 2 decades and can say that it is one of our family’s (wife and 10-year old) favorite places. Even through a change in ownership and covid, this place consistently delivers great sushi. I still miss the outdoor dining from lockdown days and hope they bring it back sometime.

So we were quite surprised to see the new decor of this place since we were so used to the previous set up where we went for many years. Personnel and service has changed dramatically too.. and for the worse. Seems very confined and drab. The food was good as long as the gnats/ fruit flies were not constantly attacking our food. The service was TERRIBLE! Wrong orders, deliveries of wrong food to the wrong tables. Idle chatter by staff, ignoring customers. Sadly this would be the last time we come here as there are much better and competitive places for sushi.

The place is much bigger than it looks from the outside. The food and staff are awesome. Quite frankly, this has become our new favorite sushi spot. Sorry we did not visit sooner as we’ve lived in the neighborhood seven years and this place is literally only a few minutes away. Will definitely be going again.

Delicious, but after signing in. Waited 15 min until someone came out to check to see if customers were waiting. There were 3 separate parties waiting!! Then an elderly man came after all of us, walked in without signing, and got seated before we did! Please change your system, or make sure someone is there to keep an eye out for customers!!!
