Ari is so nice and cheerful! I walked in for the first time today after a down morning and was in a bleh mood before unexpectedly stopping in. Got a strawberry tea with probiotic enhancer and it’s so good! I’m in such a better mood after stopping by, thank you Ari for passing on positive energy . I don’t have ENOUGH great words to say about Uptown Nutrition and their staff. I think it’s nice to have a place in town that can educate you on what you’re putting into your body and answer any questions you have about living a healthier lifestyle. The staff is excepting of everyone’s place in life when it comes to their health. They also host amazing educational events for the community to learn more about nutrition and even have free community workouts to get you started on a healthier lifestyle. Even better than the shakes and teas, you make lifelong friends here and you can’t get that at your generic smoothie bar.

The person making drinks was very sweet and charismatic. But our $9 drinks were just underwhelming individual packets of Herbalife pre-workout packets made with water right in front of us. I was under the impression these were handcrafted beverages. No other ingredients were added. I can not under good faith recommend this business knowing the price of both product vs what they actually charge.

I am not usually one with words but not only does uptown provide you with tasty meal replacement shakes and energy teas that get you going and keep you going but the knowledge the staff has in the field of wellness and nutrition pays for itself. Also the level of positivity you recieve and good vibes is quite the boost itself when you are having off days!

I personally cannot recommend an Herbalife shop. Save yourself $9 and just buy a pack of crystal light and your favorite pre-workout and make it at home and you’ll get about the same thing.

Great customer service! Server was very informative and friendly. I live in New Bern and visit the local one there often and they don’t even remember my name or what I order and I’m a creature of habit. I suppose I’ll be leaving home early to stop by here to get my tea, shake and snacks. Great customer service goes a long way for me. Plus she put fresh fruit in the shake!!! She made my day. Don’t mind my upside down cup. It’s being poured into my stainless steel mug to sip on without it getting room temperature.
