Sid’s took over the spot where Little King used to be. I was initially sad that Little King wasn’t bought by someone else when I saw the opening soon sign a couple of months ago. I don’t know when Sid’s opened, but I saw them open last week. I decided to try Sid’s for lunch today. The layout of the restaurant is the same as Little King.

Great local deli with delicious sandwiches. I have been twice the first week and I was impressed. No skimpy sandwiches here, these are loaded with lots of fresh sliced meats and cheeses. Have been here several times in the last month. Just went back on a Friday night around 6p. No wait. Ordered an Italian sub on white bread. Very tasty! Restaurant is kept nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Ingredients are of reasonably good quality. Most of the meats are sliced for the sandwich when you order. I like that! Decent portions. What’s not to like? I will be coming back often!

Fans of Little King who were saddened by the sudden closure can rejoice because Sid’s Deli brings back everything you love about LK, but manages to do it even better! The sandwiches are simple, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a sub. Quality ingredients, plenty of options, delicious sides, and all for a reasonable price! Sid and the gang are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I really have nothing but great things to say for this really underrated local sub shop!

Stopped and grabbed a sandwich last Friday. Got the #10 on white, the Sids way. Bread was soft and fresh, a big plus for me. The meats and cheeses were sliced as I waited. Another big plus for me as I hate the taste of pre-sliced meat that’s been stored in metal containers for who knows how long. Despite being exactly (different names and numbers) what I used the order at the old place, the quality was much higher. Hope people give it a try so it stays around.
