While this place lacks organization in handling orders and people to greet you for visiting there establishment Initially this place had great tasting carnitas and reasonable prices. Fast forward 1 year later and there Carnitas are bland no flavor and if that wasn’t bad enough there prices per pound went up like 60% ! Plus there lack of making you feel welcome hasn’t changed. That’s just not good business. Not surprised to see there establishment kinda empty. Hope they start reading reviews and make adjustments.

I live in the area and I was excited to see a good restaurant open that sells carnitas near us. I checked out the reviews and they weren’t so good. A year and half later, I decided to just give it a try. We went in and we were ignored. We weren’t sure if we had to wait to be sat or just sit ourselves. We sat ourselves. Looking at the menu, there were no prices. A good indication of high prices. After 10 minutes, they brought us stale chips and bad sauces. I ordered the 3 taco dinner and my better half had 2 tacos. Mine were 2 carnitas and one steak, hers was 2 carnitas. As soon as I took a bite into the steak taco, I knew it has been cooked most likely the day before. It tasted like refrigerator. The carnitas were ok but for a carnitas restaurant it was a 2. The rice was bland and beans tasted like they got it from a can. You would think that the least they could do is cook fresh rice and make their own beans. A better sauce selection, and fresh meat. After forcing ourselves to eat the food we had to pay for, we went to get the total bill. What a shocker, it was way over priced. $4 a taco should mean quality meat and great sides along with great sauces. I see why they don’t put their prices on the menu. It was an experience I knew I was going to regret after reading the reviews. Never again will they get our money. Such a disappointment. I guess we have to keep looking for better food, service and prices. If you read this, don’t go there. It’s not quality food, service and prices are crazy. If I could, I would give it a zero star.

Place is running smoother, and quicker service – the cashiers and grill needs to just speed it up a bit more. There is a manager on site today on carnitas, assisting and guiding the employees. This place can be a great go to authentic Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Wish them all the best! Others like Jalisco and Del Carmen are not tasty, and I can’t run to Pilsen every single time.

There are 2 waitress and 1 waiter and none greets you or tells you if you need to order first or you can seat down. I ordered a breakfast that supposedly comes with 2 eggs, I got only 1 and I ordered 2 more however the waitress brought only 1 more. The coffee is horrible. No one come to ask me if everything was ok or if I needed anything else until I was almost fine with my food.

First time here and most likely will be the last time. Ordered 2 de Carnitas & 1 of Barbacoa. Got all 3 de Carnitas. Instead of going back I tried one of the and was disappointed cause the meat was cold and im only a 4min drive away ♂️ This place has alot to learn from there other competitors. ♂️
