I have come here several times for lunch and just experienced their brunch. Everything is always spot on and delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is sophisticated casual inside and a beautiful golf course view outside with plenty of seating. I would highly recommend as a date night out or a spot for brunch with friends.

My friend and I went to Persimmons yesterday at 530pm we were seated right away with no reservation. We chose to sit on the outdoor patio with a view of the golf course. We ordered shrimp and crab egg rolls which were delicious! We did have to ask for napkins, silverware, and a drink menu. I ordered the “Chooch” for a drink, light and citrusy served as a mule. We shared short rib tacos that were good but on the bland side. The wedge salad was an entire head of lettuce cut in half with dressing and other veggies on top. I have never seen a wedge salad presented this way but it was hilarious and tasty! It did need more dressing considering the amount of lettuce. The burger was cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, and caramelized onions- burger of the week. The few bites of burger I tried were tasty I would go with medium rare next time. Fries were hot, fresh, and seasoned well. I will be going back to try other menu items and the cozy indoor seating. As far as price our meal with one specialty drink and one soda was $78. I thought that was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The entrees are higher priced.

Beautiful restaurant/ venue and love the rustic vibe but both times we went there, service was subpar. I waited to write a review, hoping to have a better experience but alas. Both time the waitress was kind of rude, we felt ignored after being seated and rushed while eating on a slow Saturday night.

The atmosphere here is incredibly gorgeous. While the restaurant may be situated on a golf course, it’s target audience expands way beyond those who enjoy hitting the links. Both the food and service is great and if you happen to come on a night with live music, you’ll have a great experience. I would highly recommend this establishment for anything from date night to afternoon drinks.

UPDATE TO THE FOLLOWING REVIEW, ALTHOUGH THIS REMAINS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPOTS, MAINLY DO TO SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE, THE MENU IS STARTING TO DISAPPOINT! THERE WERE MANY ITEMS ON THE MENU THAT WERE EXCELLENT AND FOR WHATEVER RESON THE CHEIF HAS REMOVED THEM. CALAMARI AND THE CRAB DIP ARE JUST A COUPLE OF EXAMPLES, NOT TO MENTION THE DELETION OF THE SMORS DESSERT WITH GELATO! THE ADDITIONS LEAVE SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED! I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS RESTAURANT TO MANY PEOPLE, BUT IF THE CHEIF CONTINUES THESE CHANGES, I WILL NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. WHAT A SHAME!

A wonderful dining experience! Without a doubt, one of the nicest venues in CNY. Not only is the newly opened restaurant pleasing to the eye, it is also right on point with quality and service. It’s a pleasure to find a restaurant that is not suffering the effects of staffing issues. Food and service was excellent. Our waitress, Whitney made for an enjoyable anniversary dinner.
