Fresh choice is a perfect replica of “sweet tomatoes” or “soup plantation”…. The vicinity of this place to gilroy gardens makes it even more convenient to visit the place after a tiresome day at the park. You can enjoy delicious salads, soups, breads. Pizza, desserts for $17 approx per person. Place is clean and well kept. Food is always restocked, tasty and fresh. All in all this all you can eat place is a delight to visit. My only complaint to the place here is they don’t have enough vegetarian soups…. Other than that it’s awesome…!

Fresh Choice has a special place in my heart. I was ecstatic to accidentally run into the last one open and it was an enjoyable experience getting to relive a part of my childhood. It’s sad how empty it was in there however, although the time of day may have been a contributor. There were oddly no napkins on the tables, and much of the dining area was dimmed; I assume this is a result of the lowered customer traffic. It was clean however, and the food was just as I remember it! The chicken was actually cooked very well and the garlic pizza was delicious (I believe they’re baked with pastry dough, so they taste different than regular pizza). Overall, Fresh Choice in 2023 is an enjoyable relic of the past albeit with your run of the mill buffet-quality food across the board. But it’s been that way since the 2000s, so can’t complain! Thanks Fresh Choice! Hope to see you whenever I visit Gilroy Gardens again! ❤️

Save your money. The only thing that wasn’t terrible was the Salad Bar. I wouldn’t put the pizza up against the worst frozen microwaved pizza I’ve had. All the hot food was just disappointing. So if you want to spend $20+ a person for a sub par salad bar, go for it. If you’re expecting anything more, go somewhere else.

The service is good and the atmosphere feels comfortable but it’s dirty and sticky in here the only thing wiped down are the tables. The salad bar looked fine but the pastas, baked foods, and desserts made me loose my appetite I didn’t want to eat anything when I walked through the small selection. They didn’t even have straws for the beverages.

Not what I remember when one was in Santa Cruz. The selections are very limited. The iceberg lettuce only comes in yellow or white (was hoping for green). The chicken looked like it should have been thrown out 2 days ago. Even the kids wont eat the strawberry ice cream(only choice). I will not be returning for $21.80 a person. Now I know why only 5 other people eating at lunch time.

This is a salad bar, pizza bar, soup and bakery. Salad was awesome with all kinds of toppings. The pizza was OK, but the noodles and spaghetti sauce was just cool noodles with like tomato sauce. The employees were nice and helpful. The place needs a serious cleaning though, the walls by the tables were gross.
