Got the yellow rice and pinto beans with stew chicken, fried sea bass, and plantains. Platter was a generous portion and only costed 10$. Clean plate, chicken was especially delicious. Will return for the fried pork and shrimp.

So I never knew this hidden gem was located here. My co worker took me there for lunch. The food was so delicious. Prices were affordable. I had fried shrimp, fried fish, rice, beans, plantains and rotisserie chicken. Keep up the good service. Thank you.

Purchased a small grilled chicken and white rice. Almost couldn’t believe it when she said it was 8 dollars, was expecting 6$ at most. Was end of the day so if she was gonna charge me that much for a tiny plate of food she could’ve atleast added the last few pieces of chicken that she left on the counter. Everytime I go here it seems like the prices get higher and higher for less and less food. To me this place is dead.

I ordered the Chicken Soup, it was too salty and lacking in taste. My husband’s food was also lacking in taste.

This neighborhood gem is well worth your time. Hot, fresh, delicious Dominican food for an affordable price is increasingly hard to find in this city and Caoba absolutely delivers! This part of East New York is very industrial and when you see these hardworking guys lining up to get lunch here, you know it’s the real deal. The food doesn’t taste store bought but rather like you went over to your cousin’s house and your aunt made dinner. God bless the people that run this restaurant and make the magic happen every day – you’re doing an amazing job
