Espresso Portuguese Bar Fest is the Spanish/Portuguese Restaurant where they make decent cuisines base on what is made in and came from Kingdom Republic of Portugal and European Union. The food they have is similar to Spaniard and Spanish Cuisine. It’s different from Spanish/ Latin Food what the have there. Really? Yes. They got great quality fest on what they make in their popular dish. Sure it’s well impressive on the food they proceed to many customers guests too. Do they make great food? Of course they do their cuisines came from Portugal southwest Europe. Those staff are fantastic, impressive friendly relatives plus they have television sets to watch soccer in the dining center and the bar section. I was really excited to try Espresso Portuguese American Grill, as I had heard good things about it. However, I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the grilled chicken and the grilled fish. Both dishes were very dry and flavorless. The chicken was so dry that it was almost tough to chew, and the fish was bland and tasteless.

Espresso is a nice tradition I have with my dad and we try to come here as often as possible. The atmosphere at the bar is very friendly with several regulars and the lovely girls at the bar are very welcoming. I loooove the grilled chicken and usually order it but you can never go wrong with their daily specials. It’s one of my favorite places to catch soccer games!

The steak on the rock is delicious. Great service is only given to their regulars. And the atmosphere is not family friendly. I went on a date and took them 20 mins to even give us a menu then another 15 mins before they came to ask what we would like to drink. Finally, by the time they came around with our drinks and asked what we would like, it had been 50 mins. An unassuming exterior with a smallish parking lot, but the food and the staff are way above average. If you are not familiar with Portuguese cuisine, the servers generally (if not terribly busy) take the time to carefully explain the menu and answer your questions. Good, authentic food prepared and served by genuinely nice people.

Tasty, but is it still Portuguese? The Carne de Porco Alentejena was perfect. Maybe the best I’ve had in the US. Their Bifana, on the other hand, was way off. It’s not served in the traditional artisan roll and the pork was marinated in spices and sautéed onions. Bifanas should be simple, cooked with olive oil, crushed garlic and salt.

The Portuguese American Restaurant is Manassas, VA provides unique foods from the Ibero Peninsula including seafood delicacies like sea food paella and stone grilled chicken that makes any meal delightful. We also tried the garlic shrimp sautéed plate, and it was delicious! Excellent service and very pleasant atmosphere.
