The pancakes were sloppy (different sizes and hard to cut as a stack) and French toast was under cooked (one side looked like it hadn’t touched the heat at all). Maybe if they use a large cooktop there’s a cold spot they don’t know about?

Tasty diner type sit in or take out. Fast, friendly, accommodating service. A staple in the community for decades. The cheese steaks and milk shakes are both excellent. A great place- highly recommend.

Bland, undercooked, uninteresting, ancient food watered down (look at the photo) with commercially purchased sauce … conveniently located. Just hope it was an off night with a random cook since lots of people seem to be satisfied in all their ratings here.

Food was fresh and delicious . I always get the Chestnut Hill sandwich. We also always get the cheese fries and fountain cherry coke. Waitress was awesome. The place needs to be cosmetically updated. Been the same since I was a kid.

Kind service along with an amazing atmosphere with excellent food to eat after going on a hike, I do recommend the chicken salad they serve there as well as the hoagie served there as well. Truly an amazing and fun place to eat at!

Old school lunch and breakfast spot. Great food, service gets slow when it gets busy. Free juke box inside and plenty of seating outside of the weather is good. Awesome spot when going on Forbidden Drives Northwestern Ave entrance.
