We had a super delicious dinner, and our server was amazing!! The view of the water was beautiful, but they had flies everywhere. We kept having to wave them off our food. We asked to move away from the windows and the view to get away from the flies. It wasn’t our servers fault, and she gave us 1/2 our meal and a free dessert

WowWowWow! First things first, KAIA took exceptional care of us! We celebrated my wife’s birthday @ Lombardi’s and even though Kaia seemed to be running the entire FOH, she was there for us every step of the way & she managed our dinner “timing” to perfection! The Tuscan Prawns were delicious, the focaccia with the DECADENT olive oil & garlic side dish was spectacular, and the Saltimbocca was melt in your mouth good, good, good! From the inside bar area to the dining room, and the two outside areas overlooking the marina, there is not a bad seat in the house! We were thrilled at the surprising quality and the attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience. It was an evening to remember!! Thank you Kaia for taking such good care of us!!!

Ordered Lunch for 3: appatizers were Bacon wrapped Dates ‘Amazing’. Entrees were salmon, lasagna, and chicken Parmagana. Everyone enjoyed their food, and I would ask for more marinara with my chicken. Dessert, we shared 2 chocolate hazelnut Mousse and lemon Tiramisu. The Mousse was the start creamy, not too sweet, simply delicious. The Lemon Tiramisu was subtly sweet, with a punch of lemon, not artificially tasting tastes fresh and bright with lovely candied lemon zest and mint on top. We had a lovely time, service was attentive, and food did not take long.

While I do recommend this place overall, some dishes are bland. Recently ate here and my dish was great, my wife’s wasn’t. Almost tasteless. She had maybe 4 bites and pushed it away. The waiter was polite and asked if she wanted a box and we just said no and explained that she didn’t like it and the lack of flavor. He took it away and asked if she wanted something else. She declined and we ended up paying full price for a meal that really wasn’t worth the cost. We didn’t complain or make demands, but I don’t think we should have paid full price on that dish. I’m sure if she had asked for something else we would have been charged for both. A little consideration would have been nice.

I am visiting Bellingham from Chicago and what a great restaurant find! The service was great, the drinks and food were even better! To be honest people may complain about the 4.5% service charge but seriously tell me another restaurant that offers benefits to its employees…? It’s far and few between so I’ll happily pay that on top of my tip knowing it’s going to the hard working staff in back that us as customers don’t get to see. Their hard work and dedication is shown through the great food we ate tonight!

Exceptionally poor service. A server who brought the entrees doesn’t bother to ask who ordered what and just threw down the plates noisily and rsndomly. He doesn’t even bother to apologize and moves on. I thought I was the server to distribute the dinner to correct person. When entree arrived, didn’t bother to ask whether we need pepper or cheese. I realize everyone is busy but nonetheless it was upsetting. Another server didn’t even bother to stop to ask “How are your food?” He just mentioned as he is passing by as it was something he had to mention. Either the restaurant didn’t train their servers to quality they should, or they don’t care to practice for their customers. All four of us were quite disappointed and didn’t enjoyed the dinner with such an ambient service. As for us, unlikely to return again. I had better service at Olive Garden.

The only thing I really do not like about this place or the OWNER(S) is that they gives you a service fee. Yes, that is right. A service fee so that the employees get fair wages and health insurance. Wow, it is sad that these owner(s) do it that way.
