This whole damn time I could of been eating good. Man I’m happy someone put me on. This chicken Alfredo bowl…Heavy! I mean the sauce…Heavy! The chicken..crack. The Catfish and fries was eye rolling with some hot sauce on it. My only thing is the fries could of been regular size. Other than that I’ll be back!!! Especially for them weekly specials.

I was so excited to try this food because everyone was bragging how good it was and this is what I got stiff Mac N cheese/cold and the honey wings was so dry there was no honey on them just greasy rice was over season taste like nothing but salt and I also got the steak egg rolls they are so greasy and not tasty at all I spent 45.62 and the chicken wings are so little the lemon pepper wings were fried so hard and they were little too smh it was a waste of money the Mac has a very funny taste too it too. The food looked very good. The honey chicken wings and the pink lemonade was the best thing I ordered. The presentation was good. The mac and cheese was bland, the waffles crumbled as soon as they were picked up out of the Styrofoam. The greens were just okay. The chicken was seasoned. The Cajun rice was cold, hard, and wet. The service was cool; the individual who took my order was patient not rude but also not really friendly. I was disappointed with the outcome, would I return… IDK.

The yellow rice was very bland and lacked the flavor I’d expect from a soul food restaurant. While the wings were not bad, they definitely were not garlic parmesan, very salty. Mac and cheese noodles were over cooked making them mushy. Also the portion for the sides didn’t add up to the price. If your going to charge $4 for mac &cheese at least fill it up all the way not half way. I saw the reviews and thought I’d give it a try anyway but there were many issues that just needed to be addressed. The only true good things I encountered was the lady who took my order and the drink was great. I’d go there for the drink again but I’m a little disappointed in the food.

After searching Tampa for the best soul food, we landed here and WOW! The jerk turkey, oxtails, catfish, quesadillas, collards, and jumbo shrimp left my family full and smiling! I highly recommend Soul Food Fantasy.

I know it isn’t easy running a business and I hate to give a negative review but I must be honest. I’m not from Florida so I never tried this food before. Soul food fantasy is like a soul food nightmare. I recommend anyone considering this food to reconsider. TikTok said it was good but my food was awful. The greens were extremely salty and so was the chicken. One of my wings had no bone(Im confused). The Mac and cheese was swimming in grease. The seafood rolls and cheesesteak rolls HORRIBLE. Ordered through door dash and was disappointed. The Mac & cheese was old and dry , the rice was sweet . Then the chicken wings were very small and greasy but seasoned well and the bread was not cooked all the way. But the yams were good .
