This might be my new favorite sushi spot! Incredibly fresh ingredients, generous portions of extras like avocado, fish roe, and seaweed salad. The brown rice was very flavorful and served at the perfect temperature and the mixed greens were on point. Super friendly staff, spotless dining with well organized condiments. I’ve seen other places with staff playing on their phones while the staff here cleaned and organized throughout my stay and I was pretty much the only one here. Great to see such pride in their work.

The lady chef and man chef looked like they were making art with the sushi. I could tell because of their form was like taking care of something dear to them. Even the cleanliness of their work station was organized and dedicated. I liked their passion. You can tell it was a really good quality sushi. Even their younger coworker and other older coworkers were extremely kind and respectful. When I come back to the Dallas area I’m 100% going back there.

With the above being said, I hold certain expectations when evaluating a sushi restaurant against their price-point. I came into Poke Sushi Roll with high expectations and was excited, since it (at this time) carries a 4.8/5 star. I have to say I was underwhelmed. While there weren’t any problems or outright complaints, I would have expected better for the price. See the below:

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Seriously some of the best sushi and Poke Salad in town! No need to go to a fancy restaurant for some good sushi. This has been our go to spot for fresh sushi! Yesterday we order a bunch of food and I took some pictures for y’all to see and want to get some for yourself. Apart from the food being so good, they are super covid safe!! Definitely feel safe every time we go!

It’s okay…. Not the best sushi place I’ve had in Dallas I spent $35 on just myself for two rolls plus tip.. it’s not terrible though would recommend to locals who want a quick sushi roll..

It was my first time trying poke bowl and I loved it! Ingredients are very fresh and well prepared. Generous servings and friendly service. I went two days in a row because I was craving it again and tried the sushi burrito which was even better. I’ll definitely be back!
