This was our first time coming here and we had the best experience. We made a reservation for 8 people and at the last min had an extra person show up. The hosts quickly accommodated us, definitely appreciated that. They also brought us a baby chair from the second floor. It’s the little things. Our drinks and food arrived quickly, everything was delicious. It was my moms birthday so they had a cake with a candle for us to sing to her. Want to give a special shout out to our waiter Carlos for superb service. Will definitely be coming back to check out the second floor rooftop bar.

Revised Review: Tasty food and original Mexican inspired recipes. Gave Mexican Sugar a second and third chance after an invite from David and their talented Chef, Gustavo. Gustavo took the time to make suggestions and make sure my mom, my friend, and I loved every bite. We tried dishes we had not tried before, the spice, the flavor palate, and the quality in the ingredients of each plate reflected the intention and attention to detail. I recommend listening to their staff for suggestions, they know best. I will be back to visit my favorite server, Grey, and to try more of their dishes and beautiful cocktails. Thanks for listening to your customers- the service we get will definitely set you apart.

Understandably this is a new establishment. Very beautiful space, decor and seating is nice but it was warm in the building. For The crowd they draw it at least should have been cool. Food was great drinks were great. Our server Abraham (I think) was great! We were sat immediately because we made reservations. The outside seating area is really nice as well. I didn’t go up to the rooftop sadly. But great experience I will come back after the crowd dies down some.

I came on a Monday afternoon to have a working lunch and IT GOT BUSY QUICK. But I equally was served with ease. I got the fresh lemonade 10/10, I literally order 2… it was so refreshing and the chicken tortilla soup 8/10, presentation was phenomenal and the right about of spice but had an interesting after taste. Over all I enjoyed and would definitely return. They offer valet parking for free for the first 3 hours. Definitely will be returning!

Excellent decor (romantic lighting, candles, art, and furniture). The service was good, they brought out a purse hanger, remembered whose food was whose without asking, there was a large glass bottle of water for keeping our drinks full, but we had to ask the first time for a refill. Felt great for a nice date. Food had excellent flavors and the portion size was large for 10-20 dollars. We had the shrimp tacos, chicken enchiladas, lobster queso, and margarita flight.

this place was stunning. Our server was attentive and the presentation of the food was appealing. I’m from Georgia and I’ve never had a chicken Caesar salad like it. It was super difficult to cut with just a normal knife and fork! but it was delicious. I got this spicy strawberry drink but I don’t think it was spicy besides the tajin on the rim? Overall I don’t think I would personally come back but it was a nice dinner before leaving Dallas.
