I had an absolutely phenomenal experience here. The food was incredible and the staff were so nice. The salsa and bean dip were very good, and you know I had to try the cheese dip which was also great. For my entree, I got an asada torta and I liked it. The fries that came with it were alright. The atmosphere was very chill in general and it felt good being there. Definitely try this place if you’re in the area!

Excellent food and service. Our server was Ricardo. He was very attentive and when I asked for food recommendations he gave 3 great choices. We will definitely return. My margarita had a orange slice in it and it was so delicious . Definitely going back. Several types of salsa served with chips as well as refried beans. Most authentic food I’ve had since we moved here 18 months ago.

I have lived in Rogers for about 15 months and trying to hit as many Mexican restaurants as possible and it’s impossible to hit them all. So this is my first stop at El Cunado but won’t be my last. It is very colorful, open and clean inside. Service was very prompt and attentive. They brought out chips, salsa and refried beans and guacamole for dipping. I had the house enchilada’s and my wife had the house taco’s. The enchiladas had great flavor and the rice and refried beans were very good. The tacos were very good as well. A good experience all around.

I ate here for the first time recently and was disappointed. I decided to eat here because the prices looked very reasonable and had decent reviews. I was surprised when the actual prices were vastly different than the menu prices, that should really be updated. I paid $10 more for my wife and I than I expected then was charged extra for using a credit card which I wasn’t told about nor saw a sign for.

(4.5) My new “go to” for authentic Mexican food! For me El Cuñado combines elements that make for a great Mexican meal; an extensive menu, table service and most important, great food. El Cuñado has great tacos but their dishes like the Molcajete, Huarache and Agua Frescas set it apart from taquerias or the Tex-Mex chains. The Molcajete was delicious and large making it well worth the $21 price tag. It’s like a meat buffet in a stone pot with chorizo, chicken, steak, shrimp, green onion and cactus simmering in salsa. I’ve had versions that looked more appealing but this one is one of the best flavor-wise I’ve ever had. A few negative reviews had me confused. Observations like poor service or salsa not made in house were far from our experience. In fact they served three terrific fresh salsas with chips and rinds. We had two different servers check on us. Both were excellent. They were friendly, knew the menu and were bilingual. While most everyone in the restaurant spoke Spanish, we never felt out of place, it only confirmed the authenticity of the menu offerings. For those that have eaten in this location during its time as an Indian restaurant you’ll be amazed at how nice it is inside now, completely remodeled and clean!

I would give this place 5 stars, but after today, no. The food and service are good. But when it came to paying the bill, we were way overcharged. We eat here often so we know how much it is. It was 90.00 for 3 people. There is no way this is right. ALWAYS ASK FOR A PRINT OUT OF THE RECIEPT IF YOU GO HERE. Be sure and check the menu and the receipt!!!
