First time visiting this place and the taquitos were amazing. The salsas were tasty too. The cashier was on her phone, instead of cleaning up the spills at the salsa bar and it was very messy. I will return and update my review.

I stopped in for a double wrapped California burrito and was blown away by the flavor! As a white dude who grew up in San Diego County this is my go to order at most places before I go deeper into the menu. This is definitely one of the absolute greatest Mexican food places in ALL of Southern California! The marinade they are using for their Carne Asada is impeccable! The salsa was fresh and full of flavor! I do not live in the area and don’t come through here often but plan on going out of my way to eat here again soon! Thank you for taking pride in making good tasting food!

Not only is their food delisious and affordable – they give you large serving sizes & the customer service is amazing, the woman that work the front are always so sweet and personable.. I even seen one of the workers outside helping a homeless woman w/water.

I went Mendoza’s today, out of curiosity because the opening soon sign, now said Open. Before you step in you see big nice photos of some of the items on the menu. And a few tables and chairs for outside dinning. Once I entered I saw how neat and clean it was. And was greeted right away with a smile and “How are you, and may I help you, and then she let me know “ take your time”. Once I made my selection, she talked with me a little more about the strength of the different sauces. As I continued to look around and at all different food items on the menu. I didn’t even need to sit down because my food was ready. But not only did she greet me a “Goodbye but even the cook in the back did too. Mendoza’ is is truly a 5 Star business, but the food is too. This woman will be back, and if you haven’t been it should be on your need to go list.

Food was so so so good. Fair prices. Great salsa bar. I’ll be back for sure. Would get 5 stars but they said they’d give a free soda refill, but then when I asked for a refill they tried to charge me. That was disappointing
