This place is such an awesome lil jem! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The dough and bread they use is fresh and soft. The food has a great taste. My only complaint is the sauce. It is a sweet sauce but you can use a little red pepper and parmesan to amp it up. I will definitely be back.

The pizza is pretty good. The crust is especially nice and the price is right.The service is dismal. I don’t think I’ve seen a single person working there on any night of the week I’ve been there who actually wants to be there or who cares if you do either. The convenience of the location and the cheap pizza specials had me going now and then but I’m pretty sure I’m all done with Maria’s.

I never bother to leave reviews, if I like the place I like it, I’d I don’t I don’t. The bite(s) I had of my girlfriend’s penne alla vodka was immaculate; quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. My pizza steak wasn’t as packed with meats as I would’ve preferred but the flavor was simply incredible.

Maria’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant have the best Italian food locally. The spaghetti, subs, and pizzas are all good along with some tasty appetizers. They have indoor/outdoor seating as well as a drive through for pre-ordered food. The service is quick and friendly. I’m a repeat customer for sure.

Worked the f&b biz in restaurants and resorts all over the country, for most of my life. I have pretty high expectations. At Maria’s, I messed up and ordered the saddest, most unsatisfying Philly Chicken Cheese Steak I’ve ever seen. Also ordered the Stuffed Shells, which were covered in a hard shell of cheap cheese turned plastic. The sauce was bland, soupy, lacked seasoning, didn’t taste fresh… and you only get 3 shells, compared to the standard 4 most anywhere else. They’re obviously cutting corners. I doubt their $1 slices do the business any favors. When this kind of quality becomes your standard business model, it’s all over. Do yourself a favor, cut the losses and close up shop. Or maybe pull back the doors, bust open the books and make a call to Jon Taffer! Took a long time to give it a chance, but I’ll probably never return after this disappointment. Are these owners even Italian?

Stopped here coming back from South Carolina and the food was great. Living in NJ there are a lot of Italian restaurants around and this one surpasses many of them. Thanked the owner for a delicious meal. Very humble gentleman. Will be stopping again for sure when going back down.

We got takeout from Maria’s for dinner, and it was great! The food was ready even though we got there early, and $8 for a pizza is an amazing bargain considering how good it is. The Caprese panini and shrimp scampi are also very good! Will definitely be coming here again

Highly recommend Maria’s fir any reason, but particularly when needing to feed a large group with pizza. We’ve purchased 20+ pizzas at a time and they’re always perfect. Luca is great to work with and so is the staff whenever we pick up our orders. 5 stars!

Very disappointed! To spend as much money as we did this was terrible! Picked up food at time they said and when we picked it up it was COLD. Customer service wasn’t the best either. First we ate there and we will NEVER eat here again.
