Food wasn’t anything to brag about. I asked for no tomatoes or pickles… I got both and my burger and fries were soaked in tomato and pickle juice. The $8 burger was about the size of one you’d get in a Happy meal. The dining area was hot and steamy and smelled like bleach.

WOW! Ok. So, it was on a whim that my son and I stopped in at the Unicoi Grill. We were driving home and we were hungry and we went right on by and their sign was out front with their number. So, we called and placed a to go order. Bacon cheeseburgers with home made french fries. I was told the meat is fresh and never frozen. Let me tell you, it sure tasted fresh. It was the best burger I have had since moving back here to Tennessee. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to try the homemade bacon wrapped meatloaf which was on special! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Just stopped in the Unicoi Grill for the first time & what a pleasant surprise! I had the BLT “with ample bacon on Texas Toast & those killer homemade French Fries”! Definitely worth stopping by….Everyone was just so nice!!! Met the owner…super guy! Will definitely be back!

We love the Unicoi Grill!! The food is homemade. The pork bbq and French fries, which are hand cut, are better than anywhere I have ever eaten. Their chicken salad croissant is also yummy. Dinner salads are massive and made with high quality ingredients. Their salad dressings are homemade. You have to try their homemade salad dressings, especially the lemon thyme. This is a locally owned business that is growing slowly. The owners and staff are friendly, treating everyone like family.

We went for breakfast the hashbrowns were burnt black the eggs were seriously over done my son like the biscuit n gravy it was just different n it did taste good but you have to get past the looks of it. The biggest down fall was the pancakes I mean those are pretty hard to mess up the pancakes were black on top almost burnt but when u would stick a fork in them them were still doughy we are going to try them one day for dinner but as far as breakfast we will continue to go to maple grove

We order catfish dinner when it was served ot was raw. The batter was dark brown and so were the fries. It looked like they they been fried in old oil. The cold slaw was drown in some kind of really sweet dressing. The restaurant it self was very clean service fast and friendly. The manager apologized and ask that we come back she said the cook was cooking “guessing” at the temperature instead of actually using something. I don’t think we”ll be back. …. My sister and her boy friend had a simular experience there and so did my niece

Wait staff and the person ringing out our ticket after we ate were not friendly or professional. My husband and I and our kids all got sandwiches and fries and water and it seemed high for what we got at nearly $ 30.00. Sandwiches were just ok and fries were floppy. Wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t recommend the place.
