Voted best breakfast for Dawson County for 2022… @big.reds.biscuits in Dawsonville did not disappoint. I knew the biscuit was going to be good as soon as I had a bite of the BISCUITS & GRAVY because most places have ZERO flavor, but not here!! The JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BISCUIT with FRIED CHICKEN, BACON, CHEDDAR CHEESE, AND EGG didn’t fall apart. Along with the amazing taste, it also had a lil kick to it, but not much for us non spicy eaters. The inside was spacious and clean with a good/friendly staff. They also have a drive thru in case you’re still on your PJs

We love their biscuits and gravy, and they have unusual donuts made everyday. The people who run the place are very nice and really care about serving you good food. The only reason we gave the atmosphere three stars is it because it’s attached to a gas station. The tables are clean and easy to sit at.

This is the best hidden gem in dawsonville! I never really thought to go there because I don’t even go to the shell next door. But when I tell you they hands down have the best biscuit and gravy I have ever had- I mean it. And this is coming from a foodie! Lol . After one bite I ran inside and woke my fiancé up take a bite, it was THAT GOOD! I’ll be back to try lunch soon! Also the prices are amazing for the quality of the food.

I was so excited to try this with my son and wanted to love it but filled with disappointment unfortunately. The biscuit itself was pretty good but extremely salty and I didn’t like they put white cheese on the egg and cheese biscuit. The donuts would be good if they weren’t extremely dry, even with the filling. I haven’t tried lunch yet though.

My bacon, egg, and white American cheese biscuit was awesome. The bacon was thick and meaty. The biscuit was hand made and fresh. The egg was broken open and cooked to order. And then I had a nana cream filled donut. The coffee was earthy and rich. All made by Big Red himself. I’ll be back.
