Typical Brazilian restaurante located in Jersey City. What a lovely place! Staff was so kind and gentle with us since we enter the place. We’ve had several typical food – caipirinha, pastel, picanha, brigadeiro – and everything was delicious. Several of them talk Portuguese, which makes the place even more lovely. We’ll come again!

Big fan of this spot! We love getting the stroganoff here – chicken or vegetarian. The caipirinhas are also absolutely amazing! Missing photos right now because we love the spot so much that we get too caught up in the food and drinks and forget to take photos lol! The staff here is also super friendly and happy to explain what certain items on the menu are. Would highly recommend!

What a great restaurant to enjoy some genuine Brazilian cuisine. Had a memorable time here with my family as we ate some delicious food and enjoyed some authentic Brazilian drinks from the bar. I must say, the pictures do not do it justice. The staff was super welcoming and very attentive to everyone. It is definitely worth coming to visit if your passing by, and if you live near, make it your go to foreign experience. Our bill may seem high, but that’s just because we enjoy a few rounds of drinks, and the atmosphere really adds to the experience. Go!

We went in last night for drinks. The atmosphere and decor are very nice, but there were several annoyances. We were seated at the bar and the waitstaff had us shift our seats to accommodate other groups, despite several table-seatings being visibly open. I am not sure if this is a new restaurant or new staff, but when customers came in they were just chilling in the back and the bartender had to greet customers. Finally when we got the bill, we were charged $30 for the flights but the menu says $20. The bartenders insisted it’s a happy hour price, but nowhere does it mention happy hour on the menu which I made a point to show them. I feel a little scammed. The quality was fine, definitely strong, so just be careful and verify the prices before ordering, I guess.

Tamborim was a great experience! I came here with my gf for our 2yr anniversary and the ambiance was perfect. We didnt wany anything too fancy but we wanted something intimate. The low lit interior was perfect for this.
