Excellent meals. The best in the Fox Valley. Service was very good and a deep wine list. The menu and specials offered a wide variety. The calamari was phenomenal. My Penne Al Capone is a must have meal. Wonder presentation. The shrimp, artichoke and pasta was wonderful, outstanding pasta. I highly recommend this place.

Went here to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed! Starting with fabulous appetizers (loved the bruschetta), and we dined on the fabulous wood-fired pizzas! Service was amazing, food flavors were delicious, and noise level was conducive to comfortable conversation. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our outings.

We should have taken the red flag when we sat down and heard other people complaining about the wait time as well as the order accuracy. Appetizers were good. Food was sub-par, it took about 2 hours for us to get our food after we sat down and one out of four orders was incorrect and I think the best thing we ordered was the raw oysters and that’s impossible to mess up the servers looked frustrated and overwhelmed. That atmosphere was nothing special . You can do better than this in St. Charles for sure.

Food is delicious! Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Service was FANTASTIC. Irene and Yadel were excellent. Very personable and accommodating. The fish, pizza, pasta all on point! I’ve read some of the negative reviews on here and I would say it was not not my experience at all! Have a little patience and enjoy. Great job guys! We went on a Friday night. The place was surprisingly empty. The outside and inside is beautiful, it has this castle look on the outside, and inside as well. The waitresses was very nice, friendly, and pleasant. When we order the food, we were very surprised. I order the lasagna, and went the plate arrived, the sauce smelled like spaghettios, I thought maybe, I just had that smell, but the sauce had an orange look to it, when I tasted it, I swear it tasted like spaghetteos. I started to eat it, but didn’t seem fresh, it tasted as it had been pre-made and taken out of the fridge. I didn’t say anything, ate most of it. My wife order a mushroom pasta, and it just looked sad. She asked me to taste it and it was just like it looked. Maybe the cook called in sick, maybe, he left early, I’ll give it another try, but not very sure.

Food is consistently good. The ambiance is certainly romantic and they always have new specials to try. So far, I have only had pasta dishes (recommend zuppa di mare/pesce if you like seafood) but the woodfired pizzas look excellent. Also reasonably priced and large portions.

This is the second time in about a month that I’ve been here, and I’ll definitely be back again! Everything is delicious and tastes like it was handmade that morning, the service is incredible, and the ambience is perfect. We had the burrata last time and the caprese di bufala this time, and both were ridiculously good. The gnocchi was the best I’ve had since we went to Florence. The pizza is made in a wood burning oven, right there in the dining room and it’s perfect. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable, and even brought out THE best panna cotta I’ve had in my life when he saw we were celebrating a birthday. This place is my new go-to for all special occasions!! Don’t skip it
