What a wonderful experience. The service was very good, the entrees were excellent. I had the braised beef, and my wife had the pork chop with the smoked whitefish appetizer and the fresh fruit cobbler for dessert. Highly recommend.

The Farm House came highly recommend by family. This place was amazing. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The service was wonderful…not too much attention..just enough. We had fried green tomatoes appetizer, salads one with their celery vinaigrette and other with Michigan cherry dressing, another in our party opted for the onion soup which was also wonderful. Our entrees included the chicken, ribs, and meatballs. All were delicious!!! Two had desert, mixed berry cobbler and chocolate cake. This is very good upscale casual dining and we all agreed we would go back in a heartbeat!

We ordered the American Red Onion soup and smoked white fish dip and meal is served with Homemade baked bread. We also ordered the Wild Forest mushroom chicken with vegetables and potatoes and Coconut almond crusted pork chops with coconut rice and vegetable with a marmalade glaze. Everything is cooked to perfection and so yummy and delicious. Chicken was juicy and tender and so is the pork chops. Presentation of the smoked white fish is so awesome and is so yummy. You must try it, very tasty and delicious. Server is so friendly and professional. They have a bar. Clean inside and outside. It’s a lot of food. We went back to our rental with lots of leftovers and the bread is so yummy. Everything is from their farm. The place is so cute. We ordered a brownie cream cheese with ice cream and hot fudge and a banana caramel chocolate with an ice cream on a puff pastry. Both so yummy and delicious. It’s well worth the price and we got another meal from our leftovers for the next day. Yummy and delicious and cooked to perfection.

I was so excited to try this place. Seriously, when I looked at the menu I couldn’t choose because everything sounds so good! My soup was good and the cornbread was lovely. However when my $50 steak arrived it was less than warm, the veggies looked like they were frozen from a bag, they were cold, and the mashed potatoes were also chilly. I ended up not eating because I was disappointed with the cost of a cold meal after waiting for about 20 min between courses. My husband got the mushroom chicken which he said was HOT and great. I’m guessing they got done with my plate first and left it to sit while he’s finished cooking. This alone would have gotten 3 stars but then the manager Jen came over and asked if I’d like my meal replated as though they’d toss it in the microwave and send it back out. When I said no thank you she told me if I wasn’t taking it to go she’d take it off the bill. Sorry this didn’t seem appropriate for the time I invested sitting there for an hour and half having a meal and the time it took me to find a meal after.

This place is amazing! The food is worth every cent and fresh. Real lemonade and tasty drinks! Really cozy farmhouse atmosphere and wonderful staff. Save room for dessert, their seasonal crumbles and cobblers are my favorites. We eat here whenever we are up in the thumb.

Excellent restaurant. Right in the middle of a farm. We sat in the addition. A great young high school grad server and wonderful atmosphere. The braised beef and barbecue salmon was out of this world. Very tender. I Highly recommend when you were coming up to Port Austin
