I ordered thru the Yelp app and had the breakfast Sandwich with Avocado added… it was delicious! The restaurant smelled amazing and the staff was super friendly. My order was being made as I walked in. You can find parking nearby on the street for very little cost. I will be back to try more of thier sandwiches! YUM!

Nice place with friendly service. I stopped for coffee but I liked the staff so much I will be happy to come back for a sandwich or salad. (Coffee was like diner coffee, which isn’t over roasted. I enjoyed it. They also have cold coffees.) They have outdoor seating.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is b/c they offer a good quality GF bread as a substitute. The albacore tuna sandwich is another story. I’m sorry to say that I thought this was probably the worst tasting tuna salad sandwich I’ve ever had. It seemed to lack acid from lemon juice or chopped dill pickle. I should have known when I was asked if I wanted mustard (!) There is no good reason for putting mustard in/on tuna salad. Don’t. Just. Don’t. And to top it off, my sammy was missing the spring mix lettuce. Probably because I had mine as a melt… Thought it would be added after. It wasn’t.

It’s a little more than I’d normally like to pay for a sandwich or I’d go here every day but quality and taste are top notch. The tuna, turkey BLT, and brisket have all been great. The tuna is flavorful and has capers. The brisket is in a red sauce, not a barbecue but was very good. Also great potato salad and fresh pickles, although the coleslaw and potato salad portions are small.

My husband and I happened upon Union Street Sandwich Company on a Saturday morning, and it was a lovely surprise! We had the most delicious bagels and lox, served by the nicest woman (the owner?), and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at an outdoor table in the alley. I suspect everything else on the menu is pretty yummy too. I’ll update my review once I’ve tried more things. I plan to go often!

I ordered a tuna sandwich (boring, I know) and it came with a pickle and small container of cole slaw; both side items were good. The sandwich was fine and I ate the whole thing, but I most likely will not be back for that type of sandwich. The bread was a bit dry and while the sandwich was fine, it was nothing special. I ordered over the phone and the service was efficient and friendly and I received the same thing at pick up. Good luck to this place as I like their decor (its very inviting and relaxed) and I’m sure other sandwiches are probably really good (and more exciting).
