Such a cool place it exceeded all my expectations. The food was great. The service very nice and prompt. Reasonable prices. Such a great atmosphere. I was surprised at how easy it was to find as well. Lots of vegetarian options. Also generous portions. I had the catfish sandwich it was amazing!

When you have that craving for fish on Friday and your tired of going to the same ole place. This is where you want to go. Well worth the drive from the big city. Great food and a down home atmosphere. Just don’t order so much so you’ll not be able to have desert. All homemade deserts. Wonderful.

A great local place with a friendly staff. The place is casual and southern sides change daily. Menu has a good variety of options. Many fried but was still good eats. Portion sizes are pretty large and looking at some other people’s plates some are worthy of a takeout box. Can’t ask for a more relaxed place to get a good bite of food. Have to again recognize the staff for their friendly nature.

No bar. No alcohol. Just the best southern style home cooking in West Tennessee. They have a dozen vegetable/sides to choose from – fried green tomatoes, sweet potato casserole, fried asparagus, deviled eggs… The meatloaf and ribs are exceptional. But save room for desert because those are home made too.

Never judge a book by its cover. Slingshot Charlie’s was recommended by Hayley from Delta Blues Winery. We’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the service was so warm and friendly. Backwoods feeling. The food was exactly what we were looking for rather than the overpriced resort meals we’ve been eating. It’s the kind of place everyone knows each other. This was our last stop before leaving to head back to NJ and Slingshot Charlie’s was one of our highlights for a good meal. Thank You..
